Re: #***
Dear ***:
As noted in the letter from Quick Step, the problem with the installation is that the base
was installed incorrectlyIt was installed tight to the laminate floor which is not allowing the floating floor to expand and contract as needed.
Front Range Interiors did not install the base trim that is causing the problem the
homeowner is noticingThe homeowner states the floor continues to bubble and liftThe Quick Step analysis states there are no defects in the flooring.
Front Range Interiors has gone out of our way to help resolve the problemAll parties need to meet and work together to resolve the problem.
Respectfully,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
We had to contact the Revdex.com to get [redacted] to even acknowledge us in a respectful manner. [redacted] continues to put blame elsewhere, avoiding any responsibility. We have tried repeatedly to work with [redacted], yet we are continually ignored. As stated earlier, we had a scheduled meeting with [redacted] several weeks ago to look at the floor in our home, however, [redacted] did not have the decency to show up to the meeting at all, leaving my husband to deal with the flooring rep. How does this behavior constitute "going out of the way" to work with us?
We have yet to receive a copy of the flooring rep's report. In addition, as [redacted] has stated, it seems highly unlikely that base boards could be causing this problem that started only weeks after installation. It seems more likely that the cause of the problem is [redacted] flooring worker installing the floor over a "wet subfloor" as [redacted] stated to my husband. This was the cause of the flooring giving way in the two other rooms of our home.
Regardless of the cause of the bubbling, we want nothing more than to have the flooring either fixed in a proper way (as to not cause more damage) or replace the floors with proper installation this time around. We welcome any kind of constructive plan that does not include us paying for a portion of the expenses as [redacted] has requested. This is what we have been trying to ask for for more than a year's time.
Regards,
[redacted]

Re: #[redacted]
Dear [redacted];
Front Range Interiors did the installation at [redacted] ** [redacted]. Any warranty work needs to go through ** [redacted], not Front Range...

Interiors.
We have been very accommodating as the middle man at trying to resolve the problem.
The floor has been inspected by a professional installer and a flooring representative. A solution was agreed upon by the homeowner, ** [redacted] and Front Range Interiors_
Flooring was ordered to replace the boards where minor gaps have occurred as agreed upon. A date was set to do the repair, but the homeowner then refused and wants the entire floor replaced.
A report from the floor covering representative can be sent to you at the Revdex.com if so desired.
All correspondence should be through ** [redacted], not Front Range Interiors, as ** [redacted] is the responsible party.
Thank you.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: We are not sure what [redacted] is even talking about. We have NEVER agreed to a partial repair of the floor. When [redacted] sent out HIS professional installer, it was this individual who informed us that the floor could not be "patched" without doing more damage to the adjacent planks. We have recent email from [redacted] stating that [redacted] would be replacing the entire floor and wanted to know the dates that would work for installation. All of a sudden he has change his story completely. (I can forward that email and several others along if needed?)
[redacted] has directed us to speak with [redacted], as it is his product, which does indeed have a manufacturer warranty. In addition, [redacted] employee installed the floor. We have asked to see a copy of the flooring representative's statement, yet again we were ignored. Regardless of the category the representative classified the problem under (defective product or installation error) [redacted] is responsible. There is no way brand new floors should bubble and raise only weeks after installation! Where is the accountability?
It should be noted that this is the 3rd floor in the house that we have had issue with. Both the upstairs bathroom and laundry floors had to be completely redone. These floors were so improperly installed, that there were actually creases and bubbles that MOVED as we walked on the floors!
We would be more than willing to consider any reasonable solution to the problem. If, in fact, "patching" the floor would be a PROVEN solution to correct the problem, we will be more than happy to try it. However, after hearing from multiple sources including [redacted] own flooring individual that this will make it worse, you can imagine our apprehension. In addition, the floor continues to bubble and lift in new places, which leads us to believe that the entire floor will eventually be affected. We do not want to be dealing with flooring problems for years to come. We purchased a new floor, but all we have received is headaches, stress and the poorest customer service one could imagine. We have been extremely patient with [redacted], he has been paid in full, yet we still sit with our bubbling floor.
Regards,
[redacted]
