We at Front Range Motors IncAppreciate the Revdex.com trying to Help, However, it is still our position that Ms*** was Treated Fairly Wanting Us to Sell Parts at Cost is not a Valid Argument NO Professional Automotive Repair Facility can Sell Parts at Cost & Stay in Business To further Prove our Claim, We called Local Repair Shops & were given Prices for the same Job(Please see attachments) As You can see our Price was not out of Line.To Summarize: Ms.*** was Correct that We installed an *** *** Alternator--Not Our 1st choice in Vendors, however it was the Only One Readily Available -- the other Vendors would have Delayed her Travels by Several Hours I assured Ms*** that she has a Warranty anywhere in the United States, in case of a Problem with the Alternator She was Informed of how much the Total Job would be(Parts, Tax, & Labor--We Quoted her $& the Repair Total actually came to $514.62, We Saved her alittle over $25.00) She Authorized the Job to be done We are Sorry that Ms*** is unhappy, but her feelings are unjustified We believe Mediation is not necessary since she was not over charged, hopefully this will put this issue to rest

I am rejecting this response because: I never once saw the quote that [redacted] has attached to this files stating or implying that it was shown to me. and she did mark up the price of the part. I refuse to be outright cheated out of my hard earned money by this establishment. why should I pay the marked up price for a part she had put on my car that she clearly stated they did not use.  I have to pay for a cheap part that she took upon herself to over charge me for.

Thank You for Choosing Us to Repair your Vehicle.  We Value ALL of Our Customers because We do know Word of Mouth is the Best Advertisement.  We Do Understand the Inconvience that occured during Ms. [redacted]'s Travels, and We had Serviced her Vehicle with a Sense of Urgency.  It...

was Explained to Ms. [redacted] that We do not use Customer's Parts because of Warranty Purposes.  We did end up using the [redacted] Brand of Alternator only because that was what was readily available.  Prior to the Repair; Parts, Tax & Labor was disclosed and Ms. [redacted] Approved the Repairs.  ALL Parts are Marked-Up using a Standard Matrix, this is a Common Practice in the Automotive Industry.  Demographic also plays a part in Part Prices.  When the Job was Completed the Nationwide Warranty was explained in case something happen's down the road.We are Sorry Ms. [redacted] is UnHappy, but We are Confident that she was not Overcharged & was Treated Fairly.
