Review: I put a $500 deposit on a used 2002 Buick Regal from this dealership on May 17th , 2013. We test drove the car that day and it did not shake violently and the engine light was not on. There was work that needed to be done on the car to make it functional (they assured me they would fix everything before I purchased it). They called on May 22nd and said the car was ready. When we got there it was close to closing time so they rushed me through everything and told me all necessary repairs had been completed. One of the items they charged me extra for was an alignment that they said would be done by another garage. Supposedly that was subtracted off the purchase price. As he rushed by the 'as-is' clause in the contract I voiced concern over it. He assured me not to be concerned that I had a 90 day warranty in the event anything should go wrong with the car. Thinking I had a 90 day warrently I paid with my debit card and drove off. Not even 1 mile down the road and the car began to shake violently and I noticed the engine light had come on. We turned around and drove it right back to the dealership. The mechanic ran the diagnostic tool and got code 303 misfire- told me it was a spark plug and it only needed a tune up. I was shocked that they hadn't done that since they said they would fix everything before I took possession but I thought if it was just a tune up I would take it to a mechanic closer to where I was living ([redacted] VA at the time). I realize now how naive I was believing they were sincere. I couldn't find a mechanic to look at it so we took it back to the dealer a week later to fix it. they said it would cost me $500 to fix what was wrong. Out of desperation I took it to [redacted] in [redacted] and they told me that cylinder 3 was misfiring (NOT a spark plug) (over $1000 to fix it) . When I told the dealership this they said it would cost $1500 ($500 more than my warrenty covers) ...I need a running car desperately and I spent every last dime I had on this car so I called the owner, ([redacted]?) ... he said he would exchange it for another vehicle. I was shown another car- same model 4 years older- that [redacted] told me was the same price. When I went to do the exchange I was told by a female that it would cost me an additional $1400 that they would gladly finance for me(something about additional processing fees etc) . The car I was looking at to exchange had ripped interior seats and other issues as well but I was desperate for a running car so I listened to what she offered. She wanted even more money from me. When I asked the girl to write things down and for her name she got rude and refused to give me her last name. I found it on a sign - ([redacted]) I am at my wits end and don't know what to do. My Aunt tried to call the owner today to see if he would try to work on a solution that would work for both parties and as soon as she told him that she was calling about the car he sold me he went ballistic on her on the phone....screaming that I had just simply 'changed my mind' about the car and that he didnt need to care about what she thought because she wasnt his customer. At this point I am exhausted and still cannot work because I don't have transportation. I believe they knew the engine was bad on this car when they sold it to me and lied about it. They are not willing to refund my money or even part of it. I have tried everything I know how to resolve this but they just keep trying to get me to pay them even more money ...They took $3200 from me for a car that had a bad engine....they even ran the machines on it so they should have seen what [redacted] saw but they lied abut it being only a spark plug. I hope you can help me.Desired Settlement: I have no money left and need running transportation to get back to work. A refund is the best outcome because they sold me a vehicle they knew had a faulty engine and even after they ran the diagnostic tool on it they lied to me about it being just a spark plug. I am concerned about them doing any repairs as they will try to charge me extra again. I will consider a fair exchange but only for a car that is in running condition, inspected by [redacted] first, and with no major defects like the one they sold me. If they offer to fix the vehicle I will consider that as long as they agree to allow [redacted] or another mechanic of my choice to inspect it after the work is done to make sure it was done properly. However, I am not willing to give them ANY more money as I do not trust them at all now . I gave them every cent I had for a car they knew had major engine issues and as a result have no way to get to work now. I unfortunately did not know about Revdex.com before I purchased this car, otherwise I would have seen that they have many more complaints of a similar nature.

Review: I purchased a vehicle in July and have not recieved the title. The vehicle title is required for vehicle registration. I have called the dealer multiple times to resolve the issue. My phone calls are no longer answered. I have left several messages with the dealers voice mail and my calls are not returned.

Vehicle dealers have a legal obligation to provide the vehicle title.Desired Settlement: Please send my vehicle title to

Or at least call and make other arrangements for me to drive to Virginia and pick up the title in person.

Review: This place is a scam. Me and my step son were looking for a car and unfortunately my spouse came across this place. We drove there and started looking at the cars, all in very bad shape. the sales people were definitely not friendly. We looked at a car (Nissan Maxima) on the back lot and decided to take it for a spin. The car was in bad shape but we decided to move forward if the price was right and make the necessary things to fix minor issues. Well, what a mistake. What can I say, this people promised 3 months of warranty. This was the first lie. Since they gave us a discount(since the car looked like hell) they now say that this is only if you pay full price. So, full price on a 1996 Nissan Maxima run down and definitely on an accident for $2500? Yea right. Not only that, but the car did not even pass inspection in VA, that is even worst. This people are selling this pieces of crap and once you figure this out you are out of luck. We called for a whole week, the car has not even start since the day we took it out of the lot. We have put a new alternator, new battery and still does not work. We made it down there after getting tired of calling and getting hung up by the rudest secretary ever and they still refuse to give us our money back.

If there is any way we can take legal action we will. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT do business with this crooks.Desired Settlement: We want our Money back period

Review: Bought this jeep grand cherokee couple weeks ago,,, within 24 hours the jeep shut down and had to be towed to jeep dealership to be fixed just so it would start,,,asked them to change boots,, wasnt done,, in turn warranty wouldnt fix cv boot...under the hood.. found cut houses going to heater core and relayed to keep from overheating engine...in turn no heat...by my understanding all dealers have to put new inspection sticker on vehicle before selling,,,,in va defroster is part of inspection,,,really important part missing off engine,,,tripping engine light,,,called dealer before being towed and they informed me that we would get rental car from warranty... found out warranty doesnt cover ignition problems...did pay tow expense but stuck with bill...stuck with bill on cv joint and boots....warranty wouldnt cover heater core bc it had been tampered with... on top of that went back to web site where I found the vehicle still listed...closer look they had two jeeps same style listed,,,,come to find out the jeep I purchased was listed 500 less than what list price,,,jeep at price I purchased had totally different vin number... also jeep shut down bc of bad terminals on battery,,,also have sneaky feeling rear end axles need replaced bc of sound it makes when turning....when got vehicle tire was low,, figuring it was just cause it may have sit there for while,, well tire went totally flat couple days after having and had to pay to be repaired bc of screw lodged in it...tried calling about these problems and they wont answer my calls anymore,,, last thing I was told was it was our problem now!! also havent recieved title yet!!Desired Settlement: amount of difference that we should have paid for it...repair bills for unexcusable misses made by their "master tech" cost of heater core installation and hoses, cv joints and boots, part mixing from top of motor, tire repair,,,inginition security repair.

Review: I recently purchased a vehicle from Front Royal Auto Group, and it over heated on the way home. (approx 1 hour of driving before issue started). The dealership was closed when it happened so I called the next day and they told me to use the warranty. I told them it didnt cover cooling issues, they assured me I was reading it wrong and to take it to a shop of my choice and have them fix it. Shop said warranty doesnt cover it and dealership wont answer my calls unless I call from a different number and wants nothing to do with helping me. Before I purchased vehicle I did research and came across a dealership, ([redacted]), that had a very bad reputation for scams and such. I made a point not to go there, when in turn ended up going to a branch they recently opened in a different location. I have since put together quite a bit of research on both locations. All of my paper work says Front Royal, except my warranty says [redacted]. Warranty company has no record of Front Royal on their policy. The repairs on the vehicle will cost 2 times what I paid for the car.Desired Settlement: Once the dealer realized I was having an issue with the vehicle, my phone calls were avoided unless from a different phone number where I was then instructed to call back later. I would like a refund and to make sure these two dealerships cant do this to anyone else on account theyve done it to so many and continue to do so. What will it take to put it to an end?
