Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/07/05) */
Revdex.com
As I understand the complaint, Mr. [redacted] is angry that we are closing later than he would wish. Let's start from the first. [redacted] is purchasing a home with Mr. [redacted] Our loan officer [redacted] started putting...

together the loan application in early April 2016. As she got the information for the loan application she noticed that the [redacted]'s were purchasing investment properties. While we were in escrow [redacted] sold a property in Sacramento California and purchased a condo in Las Vegas Nevada. [redacted] ask [redacted] about living in the property. He said he was going to make that home his primary residence. As we got more and more information the likely hood of Mr. [redacted] living in the property looked less likely. As the sales manager I personally call both borrowers. [redacted] was very angry I would question his motives. After talking to both borrowers and discussing that if they purchased this property as an owner occupied primary residence and did not reside in this property they would be committing Mortgage Fraud. After a few days we got a call from [redacted] letting us know that they would purchase this property as an investment property. At that time he admitted they were purchasing multiple properties for flipping and investment.
Changing a loan form owner occupied to investment takes time. The appraiser had to change his appraisal and add a rental survey. Changing the file is not as easy as it sounds. We had to ask for all the documentation for all their rental properties. If the Borrowers had been honest up front and not tried to commit loan fraud, we would have closed this property on time.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/07/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This appears to be a case of bullying because of the threatening posture of the mortgage company. The change of terms was ONLY intended as a concession to speed up the process. It was NEVER to be interpreted as an admission of intending to rent out the place. This is a fraudulent statement generated by the mortgage itself. Additionally, There is discrimination based on my employment. I am not sure why someone in real estate investment is precluded from buy a primary residence. This seems like questionable activity here.
I can further prove my intent since I rented a garage unit in Hemet CA (5 miles awa) and moved my personal items there to move in. I am not sure why this company doesn't believe me about this. This appears to be another instance of discrimination.
I have opened this case to reach out to bring about closure. So far there has been no resolution attempted here by the mortgage company. That is, no clear date of closing or extension of the $7000 closing contract. Instead, I was berated by Wil Herring.
Please answer these questions and/or release us with full refund of funds held by escrow. It is unacceptable to accuse a buyer when already pre-approved and showed photo proof of personal items moved nearby.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 18, 2016/07/14) */
[redacted]Document Attached[redacted]
Receipt from Rental Garage in Hemet.
This clearly establishes my sincere intent to reside in the home.
There is still no response from the mortgage company here on Revdex.com.
Pls advise...still waiting.
