They wants a refund for the parts they have that are not neededThe first one the business shipped the wrong part to them and they had to pay for it and they will not take it back and give them a refundThere is also a part they paid for the business put on the fridge, but while it works on the fridge it is not the correct part and the customer had to contact GE to look at it and it was at that point the part was discovered to be incorrect and they had to pay to have the correct part

I have reviewed the response from *** ***, Our Company was ready to respond to *** ***'s
phone call that the refrigerator still was not cooling, he choose to have another Company come out, If I
sent the wrong shelf I would be happy to take that backWhen it is ordered from the parts house, I did
not know I had the wrong one and when the technician was supposed to go back out he would have
known it was wrong and corrected our mistakeAs for the floor, never has there ever been a mention of
the floor being damagedWe have spoken to *** *** on the phone and never a mention about
the floor, I find this very hard to believe, we were not the last company to touch this refrigerator, and
they called GE outI still stand by that we were ready to come out and repair the refrigerator, but was
told no

Dear Sir/Madam, I received the complaint dated 5-15-2015 the technician arrived at. the home on [redacted] The technician found that the dryer element needed replaced, when he looked for...

the lady of the home she was nowhere to be found, asked a gentleman that was at the home where was she, he stated she left, the technician was not told when she would be back. He waited and finally told them I cannot stay all day waiting for her to come home, Did they want the dryer repaired? The Man at the house called her on the phone and she stated that she did not want the dryer repaired that they would go out and purchase a new dryer. She gave the technician a credit card number on the phone. The Gentleman at the house told the technician just to put it together enough that they could get it · out of the house to tak.e to the dump, So he did. Yes he charged the Homeowner $90.00 Minimum labor, and yes when he called the office later that evening and spoke to the technician, I credited back the $90.00 and only charged the $69.00 for a service call. Mr. Peterson has caJled the office 10 times in a 24 hour span. He was not at the home and neither was his wife when all of the conversations took place. Most of the conversation was with the Gentleman at the home and he stated he was here visiting from Colorado, and a young Boy was at the home. I was threatened on the phone yesterday two times by Mr. Peterson. No person should be speak to the way he has spoke to me on the phone. If he had wanted the Dryer repaired the technician was prepared to do so at that time. Bot when the homeowner leaves the home with a Service technician in the house with no instructions on how to get in touch with her. it ls hard to communicate. So no I do not feel that the Petersons should get a $69.00 service call refunded to them, they were told what the repair was going to cast and choose not to have it repaired. Service charge is free only if we do the repair. The person left at the home told the Technician not to put the dryer back together because they were goiog to purchase another Dryer.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

Frost Appliance did not resolve the problem with the refrigerator. He came out twice to repair it and it still didn't work. I didn't want him coming out a third time. Two strikes were enough. The receipts are [redacted]. The ** repairman said he would sign a statement if necessary. In regards to the shelf. Frost sent a shelf in the mail. It was the wrong shelf. Frost sent the bottom shelf. The middle shelf was the one that was broken. The ** repairman furnished the right one. Photo [redacted]. Frost also scratched our wood floor when he jerked the refrigerator out from the wall.  I haven't gotten an estimate to repair the floor, however if Frost won't give us the $635.00 refund we're asking for, I'll tack on the cost to repair the wood floor and take him to small claims court.

They wants a refund for the 2 parts they have that are not needed. The first one the business shipped the wrong part to them and they had to pay for it and they will not take it back and give them a refund. There is also a part they paid for the business put on the fridge, but while it works on the fridge it is not the correct part and the customer had to contact GE to look at it and it was at that point the part was discovered to be incorrect and they had to pay to have the correct part.

When [redacted] called the office, he did not tell the
person answering the phone that he lived in
C.rozier. Also when I spoke to [redacted] there was a
lengthy discussion about the warranty that GE
has on a 5 year old Refrigerator, we had told him...

that we
did not think any part of this refrigerator was
under warranty. When [redacted] Called him to locate his address
this is when he stated he lived in Crozier,
he told the Homeowner that this is not our service area, but
after speaking to [redacted] on the
phone after convincing [redacted] to come on out he needed the
refrigerator repaired .[redacted] does not have to
Brag about how long he has been working in the Appliance
Service Business, if a customer should ask he
will tell them. Our invoices do have a stamp on it 46 years
of Service.
When [redacted] called the day after the refrigerator was
repaired he stated it was not cooling, [redacted]
made a second appointment to return to the house, as for the
statement of being belligerent, I hardly
think so, Why would he blame a refrigerator not cooling on
the customer, they have no control on it nor
do we have control on parts we take out of a box, it could
be defective out of the box, this happens in
any industry.
[redacted] stated he would come out again on the refrigerator and
[redacted] stated he did not want us
back out to his home. We were supposed to return to his home
anyways to bring a shelf out that they
had ordered the first time [redacted] went out. But since he
stated he did not want us back out, I mailed it to
him.
As I stated to [redacted] I cannot reuse a part once it
has been used on a refrigerator, We would have
been ok going back out to his home but we were told do not
come back out. And give him money back;
we stand behind our work not another Company that was out
servicing the refrigerator. I was not
sarcastic to him on the phone, but I do not feel I need to
sit and listen to an angry homeowner belittle
me on the phone, I am a human being not a machine.
I am not inclined to refunding any monies to [redacted].

Review: Service person disassembled my dryer, gave estimate higher that replacement then refused to reassemble dryer. I was told there would be a $69 service fee for a written estimate. If I went with the company for repair fee would be waived and I would only be charged parts and labor. He charged $90 and when asked to reassemble what he took apart told my wife that it would be another $90 to reassemble.Desired Settlement: Refund $69 service fee as service was not complete.

Review: My wife and I called Frost Appliance 5/19/2014 to repair our refrigerator. It is a 5 year old [redacted] double wide. The freezer side was working fine. The refrigeration side would only get down to 48 or 49 degrees. [redacted] of Frost Appliance came out on 5/20/2014 to repair it. He bragged about his 46 years of experience. He put in a new “main board”, and told us that would solve the problem. We paid him $797.74. The next morning on 5/21/2014 the temperature gauge read 48 degrees. We called [redacted] and told him what was going on. He said he’d be out there in the afternoon. When [redacted] arrived he seemed belligerent as if it was our fault the refrigerator wasn’t working. He said it wasn’t his fault if the supply house sold him a defective main board. Evidently he replaced the main board again, along with a drip pan. He told us to wait possibly 3 or 4 days for it to cool. We waited two days and the refrigerator never got below 49 degrees. I called [redacted] 5/23/2014 and told him I wanted a refund. He argued that he went out of his way to repair our refrigerator. I hung up in his face after telling him I’d see him in court. We scheduled another repairman to come out. A ** repairman came out 5/28/2014. The refrigerator was still not cooling. He said the problem wasn’t with the main board but a cooling fan in the refrigeration compartment. He told us the Frost repairman put in the wrong main board so he replaced it, the fan, a temperature sensor, and evaporator cover for $353.74. He gave us a computer print out of parts and labor prices. It only took 4 hours for the temperature to reach 36 degrees after he finished working on the refrigerator. I still have the main board that Frost installed and would like to return it to Frost.

If we don’t get a full refund, at least we’d like to receive the $485.00 charge for the main board which we still have, and $150.00 he listed as “technical service time”.

$485.00

$150.00

Total————-$635.00.

I called Frost appliance 5/29/2014 at 2:00 PM and told a woman who worked there everything that I stated above, and I wanted a refund. She argued that they couldn’t get the money back for the part once it had been installed. I told her was going to call Revdex.com, the News, and take them to Small Claims Court. She said sarcastically, Go ahead and do it then and hung up.Desired Settlement: Partial refund.

Review: I have a rental house. Tenants lost refrigeration. I called Frost Appliance. Tony arrived & told me I need an air exchanger he said would get the part and fix the fridge if I paid first and left. I paid his bill by phone with a credit card of $428. His wife said she would email me the receipt. Next day he installed the part. He left before making sure it worked. It did not. I called and insisted he return and fix fridge. He reluctantly did & told me I needed a computer this time. I told him I would pay for it only if it worked this time. He put it in (conveniently had it on his truck) and left. He charged my card a second time without my permission. fridge still did not work. He said he was off on Thursday and I just had to wait. I called him the next day (Thursday) and he would not answer. I was forced to purchase a new fridge after spending $787 with him. He called me on Friday. I told him to get his parts back out and refund my money for them. He said he was going to charge me a big labor charge. That I did not have a receipt and he would charge what ever he felt was right for his time and efforts. That I did not have and would not get a receipt so tough luck.Desired Settlement: I paid $787 for parts and labor. I feel he should not get any more than $200 tops for labor since he is incompetent and has extremely poor customer service. He told me the computer cost was $350 the filter he put in was $55 and the air exchanger was $205. He refused to give me a receipt at the time of service, so now I have no idea if he will pad the bill even further. In reality he should refund the full amount and retire. He is a menace to the trade!

I have the refrigerator in a dry place in the garage and will allow him to get the parts so long as he gives me a check at the time of removal. I don't trust him to mail one as he proved his lack of integrity when he refused to give me a receipt.
