Frost Bake Shop

Purschaed cake, damaged when placed in box that was too small for cake. Cake was purchased in advance and picked up on 4/11/14. Cake was inspected and upon visual inspection met expectations. At that point the cake was placed in a box, by an employee of Frost, and closed, by an employee of Frost. When I returned home and took the cake out of the box, the cake had been smashed. It was clear that the cake was too tall for the box when the lid was closed. I notified the "manager" and was told to send pictures of the cake and box since it was not possible to return to the store at that time. I was told that the "manager" would follow up after receiving the pictures. 4/14/14 no follow up had occurred, reached out to store again and was told various reasons why it was my fault the cake was damaged, my driving, my inability to carry the cake to my car, I closed the cake box not the store. I reached out to the owner and was told I would receive a full refund in the mail, communication occurred via email. At this point no refund has been received. Desired SettlementRefund as promised.
