This customer had emailed us with the same message they put in their complaint, so I investigated it and found it was a buyer’s remorse situationI say this because we have been selling tables for over five years and patterned our website listings after what had already been generally used on
*** *** etcWe found that with some tables, a size or dimension of the surface was helpful in drawing people who were looking for tables of that sizeWe also have three main components to our listings to give information: description, features, and specificationsThe specifications give dimensions of width, length, height, thickness, and/or whatever is pertinentUnfortunately the customer failed to read the listing before purchasing where they would have seen it was only 16” heightFailing to read the listing and purchasing it anyway is a classic example of buyer’s remorseWe do allow the customer to return the product for buyer’s remorse, but it is their responsibility to pay for return shipping and if shipping was paid initially, that is not refunded since it was used to get the product to the customer initiallyI checked with the CSR who took the call and she said the customer was speaking loudly and aggressively to her when she wasn’t able to do what the customer was requesting, at which point she escalated it to her supervisor SummerSummer called them back and listened as they 'taught' her about how we need to be creating titles in our listingsWhen she wasn’t going to pay for the return shipment or waive the 20% restocking fee, they got aggressive with her and started threatening, like in the complaint, with bad reviews everywhereIt was at this time she became more assertive and told them there was nothing more that she could do and told them she didn’t appreciate the manner they were speaking to her in; ‘condescending’
I have been given approval to proceed with the buyer's remorse refund (order minus 20% restocking fee) without having this item returnedThe refund has been submitted to our accounting department and should be credited back within 3-business days

it resolved on their end, if this is unsuccessful we will pull the offending products from *** available inventory as we do not like having our products misrepresented
