Review: Hoping I'm not alone with this complaint. I had gone years without ever cracking an [redacted] screen until about a month ago when I dropped my [redacted] 5. I had Fruit Fixed (Carytown location) replace the glass on my [redacted] 5 on July 26, 2015 for $80. Last week, while I was at the beach, my replacement screen developed a "spontaneous" single hairline crack in the upper left hand corner. There was no impact, no flex, but perhaps moderate thermal stress going from the air conditioned car to the hot beach, but certainly nothing beyond normal wear and tear. Anyway, I suspect that it was a manufacturing defect exacerbated by changes in the temperature. I went back to Fruit Fixed today (spoke with Jay) only to find out that they do not warranty their products against manufacturing defects. They told me my screen could be repaired at my expense. Very disappointed. I hope Fruit Fixed will take this complaint in the helpful spirit in which it is meant.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund in the amount of $80, or my [redacted] screen replaced at Fruit Fixed's expense.
