Incorrect shower pattern installed
We went to the showroom and had a great time doing our section. We saw a shower tile display in the showroom with an accent tile stripe offset to the side. We told our design consultant that we wanted to recreate the same style in our house, she told us she would take care of it and knew exactly what we wanted.
Recently the shower tile has been installed however the stripe was installed central to the room, not offset. We complained straight away and told our builders this is wrong and needs to be re-built.
However our design consultant wouldn't take responsibility of the mistake, I spoke to a manager at FS Builder Resources and had them send me a picture of the display in the show room we wanted to recreate. After sending this picture to our builder I thought it would resolve the issue, however, our design consultant still wouldn't take responsibility. I reminded the manager that on your website one of your three core values is integrity. This clearly isn't practiced by everyone at FS Builder Resources. I'm very disappointed in the experience. My advice to everyone is get everything documented in writing to the smallest detail. At the end of the day this is all your will have to protect yourself, it's clearly they won't take responsibility for their own mistakes
We are being told by our builders to correct this mistake they will want to charge us $675. We need move on and not delay the build so we have agreed to pay this. However, between now and closing FS builder resources should take responsibility for their mistake and credit this back to our account.
The Design Consultant that worked with Mr. does not have any record of notes for the special request by buyer in regards to offset accent band. Shower Line Drawings (Diagram), which were signed by the homebuyer, associated with the accent pattern in question identify a vertical stripe pattern in the center of the wall. I have attached documents in question.
After installation was completed the builder notified our Customer Service team of homebuyer's concern. We reviewed the documents and confirmed with the builder that the shower accent pattern was installed per the diagram signed by homeowner at the time of design appointment final sign off.
A quote was given to the builder to move the accent pattern. After a few days a Purchase Order in the amount of quote was provided and we proceeded with scheduling the request.
FS Builder Resources installed the accent pattern as requested on signed documents per the policy and agreement between our company and the homebuilder.
