FTV Marketing

This company is a licensed dealer of Vector Security systems. I have had an awful experience dealing with this company when it came to getting simple service. Within 2 weeks of signing a contract, I was subjected to two no call/no shows on service install. I was told that they would take care of the cancellation of my prior service with Monitronics and they did not. Justin hand wrote the cancellation and had us sign it with the promise of him submitting it for cancellation on 6/27. He told us to contact Monitronics the week of July 4th. It is a week after that week and they did not receive anything. I have attempted to contact Justin directly on the issues and did not receive any returned phone calls. It was only when I called him consistently in one day that I finally received a text message from him hours later stating that he was sick. After a combination of numerous failed customer service and service install issues within a two week window, I decided to call the owner of the company and express my dissatisfaction with my experience with his company. I requested to be released from my contract free of any cancellation fees and was told that because my system is working properly, there is no breach of contract. I find this company to have very poor judgment when it comes to the customer having an issue. To Josiah's credit, he did offer me up to 6 months of service free of charge. I denied any future service due to the fact that I have had enough of a bad experience to know that I will not be satisfied. There is no reason for me to accept free service when the service I have had has been unsatisfactory. Josiah continued to tell me that he is willing to work with me but only by offering me free service. I was never once asked what would make me happy. In the midst of the conversation escalating, I was called stubborn and unrealistic. As a customer, all I requested was to be released from a contract that was signed under false pretenses. Please be aware that this company will do their best to hold a customer accountable for their lack of customer service. I strongly recommend that no one do business with this company. Rather than let me go, Josiah and his company find it more beneficial to hold me in a contract for the remainder of the term.

Review: I was contacted by Mr. [redacted] in early June regarding the payoff of my [redacted] account, which was promised to me by Vector Security. Mr. [redacted] said in our phone conversation that a money order for the payoff amount was being sent to [redacted]. On July 3 I was contacted by [redacted] because they had not yet received the promised payoff. I filed a complaint against Vector Security with the Revdex.com on July 7, and the resolution was: Customer was sold and installed by FTV Marketing, an Authorized Vector Dealer. FTV Marketing has been trying to get in touch with Ms. [redacted] regarding her [redacted] payoff. I've contacted FTV and they understand that payment needs to made to Ms. [redacted] in the amount of $453.60. FTV assured me that this matter will be taken care of asap.It has been over a week and NO ONE from FTV has tried to contact me. In fact, I have not even heard from them since Mr. [redacted]'s phone call in early June. My original complaint is #[redacted], against Vector, but it appears that my complaint should actually be against FTV Marketing. My next step will be filing a complaint against FTV Marketing LLC with the Attorney General's office. This is absolutely ridiculous that they apparently have no intention of living up to their promises.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. [redacted] and FTV Marketing LLC to live up to their promise of sending me payment in the amount of $453.60 so that I can pay [redacted].I have got nothing but the run-around in dealing with this company, and it has been over 2 months since I signed the contract with Vector Security.
