Review: I had a Camaro at Fuentes for repairs and exhaust installation. After viewing the vehicle they informed me they could not work on the mechanical issue without fixing the exhaust system. I paid 1800 up front for the custom exhaust to be installed. However when installation was completed, some four weeks later, they informed me that they could not repair the vehicle. I reached out to them and they to me to no avail. Four months later, I forced the issue and try to get my car towed from the shop taking the 1800 dollar loss for unneeded repairs. We spoke with both [redacted] and [redacted] who checked and assured me I had no balance as they didn't work on the car past the exhaust. He confirmed I could pick the car up. I scheduled a tow truck to pickup the vehicle. I contact the shop again to confirm a truck is enroute to pickup my vehicle. The owner then states my vehicle is not available and is on mechanics lien for the storage as now my car is in storage. He goes on to say he had been busy over the past few months and neglected to answer my calls or return them. They are not releasing my car until I pay arbitrary storage fees for not being able to contact someone who was too busy to take my calls. This after installation of 1800 dollars worth of equipment that no one will ever know works or not. No exhaust is needed to repair a vehicle as described by Fuentes and verified by outside mechanics.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a running vehicle that uses the exhaust purchased. Or return my vehicle sans the exhaust and with a full refund. It is completely unethical that you do not return calls and then charge an arbitrary fee when, your employees confirmed the vehicle is onsite and not in storage.
