Review: In 2014, I purchased a Fujita SMK82 massage chair with a 3 year warranty including 1 year for In-Home labor and parts.

In August, a few months after purchasing the chair, I first reported to Fujita that my chair had developed the following issue: The 3D functioning including infrared scan no longer functioned properly leading to inability of automatic programs to work because of not being able to detect a presence in the chair, as well as 3D protrusion and shiatsu functions not working. I contacted them and asked them to make arrangements for the massage chair to be repaired, however they have only responded by asking me to take apart parts of the chair and send pictures and video and saying that they see nothing wrong in the pictures and video which cannot show what I have explained is wrong with the chair because pictures and video can not show improper function of the features in this case. They have been giving me the run around since August and stopped answering emails or calls. I sent them a formal letter of complaint in March. A few days after this letter, I called them from a different phone number and my call was answered unlike when I called from my own phone number. I was at that point told that they were in the process of training someone in my area on how to repair my chair. I have not heard from them since.Desired Settlement: Repair or exchange of my massage chair so that I will have a fully functioning product.

Review: SM9100 chair has been broken or malfunction for 6 months and recently the KN9003 massage chair as well. We've attempted to contact the company as well as [redacted], the owner, for many times but they've failed to come to fix the chair. I personally went to the company twice and left messages to [redacted] but never returns my call. I also texted [redacted]'s cell but he ignores and does not response to me.Desired Settlement: I would like the company replace the broken chairs with new and fully functional chairs.

Review: I am a disabled veteran who ordered a massage chair from Fujita Massage Chair back in December of 2013 to care for my back as I had just left the military. Around March 2014, the fabric on the chair had torn behind the cushion (3-4 months?). I only weighed 170 lbs and I am 5'7'' tall so there was no reason for the fabric to tear other than faulty product. We contacted Fujita and they said it was wear and tear probably due to misuse, I explained to them that it could not have possibly been because I am a smaller individual and used it very seldomly. There was nothing on the warranty that stated fabric not being covered before this, but a couple days after I contacted them, the warranty was changed to not cover fabric! We were told that theyre not responsible and will not cover it. They ended up telling us to sew it ourselves! At their direction, we sewed it ourselves and continued light use of the chair. Then the motor on the chair stopped working and the controls for the chair was malfunctioning. We then contacted them again regarding the motor and while we were at it decided that we would go ahead and pay to replace the fabric. It took months of no response, but we were persistent and finally got a hold of them. A tech finally came out in February 2015! The tech said that the motor was jammed because of the cloth and said that he would find out about replacing the motor. We never heard back from the tech. I just contacted Fujita today and they said they closed out our ticket because the warranty was void. This is B.S. They told us to sew it ourselves, then they're not honoring the parts warranty because the cloth had gotten stuck in the motor from the advise we were given. It's taken 15 months to get to this point, and they've been avoiding us whenever we tried contacting them. I am a disabled veteran and was utilizing the chair for my back pain and have barely gotten any use from it because of this. All I want is to get relief for my back.Desired Settlement: I just want to get the massage chair fixed because I used my VA disability back pay to purchase this chair and it's been nothing but headaches. I will also accept a return as a broken massage chair will not help my back issues. I suffer from anxieties also and this whole situation has raised my anxieties level to where I cannot look or be in the same room as the chair. The whole ordeal is a nightmare and I just want it resolved. My back is killing me and now my anxieties from dealing with this company is up. I just want my chair fixed so I can get some comfort!!!!!!
