Hello Revdex.com, 
 The first time we made the appointment we did not show up, the reason being I forgot to log it in my calendar to remind me but I still showed up later that same day. The second time when we scheduled the work start date I received a call that morning from my employee...

reporting his self sick. The home owner is stating that I did not call her. I didn't call her because she specifically told me to not call her at work because she could not answer she preferred emails, so I sent her an email letting her know my employee called in sick so we would not be able to make it that day. Then she called me later that morning very angry cussing saying that " I was irresponsible and she was dissapointed etc.."  I told her " I have 25 workers, If one of them calls me sick that morning I have no control over it , I cannot just send another worker from another crew because they have other jobs they need to attend' That is the part she clearly didn't understand. What I did to recompense the inconvenience I charged her $4,500 instead of $5,500 something that she didn't mention in the complaint. Then she got very angry again because I charged her a 3%  credit card fee which is clearly stated in the estimate and agreement she signed. She told her I should have told her, My job is to explain what we are supposed to do not to go over the whole estimate/agreement. I told her she shouldn't sign any document without reading it thoroughly. So I received a call from her husband asking me desperately to please to refund the transaction in return he would pay me with cash. I never said cash only ( something she said in the complaint) cash, check or credit card to me is the same thing they still have to pay tax. The husband mentioned how if the refund wasn't granted he could have problems with his wife, So I figured its no big deal I canceled the transaction. And right after that she submitted the complaint which made me mad not because of the complaint more so because it wasn't a honest complaint. I've never met her on site only dealt with her over the phone. Her husband was the one who made the deal with me but she was the one who signed the contract and apparently the decision maker. So after she made the complaint I called her husband asking "whats going on,  I reduced the initial price and agreed to cancel the credit card transaction and your wife still wrote a complaint" He told me he wasn't aware & that he would talk to her to void the complaint because that wasn't fair after what I did for them. He also mentioned to me to ignore his wife that she had "problems" specifically bi-polar. To conclude if I am the type of person she described in the complaint how is it that I only have 4 to 5 star ratings on Home Adviser, Yelp, Google and social media. She is the first bad review after so many years of a great reputation for being an honest family owned business looking to help people not take advantage.
