Full Circle Trade & Thrift Reviews (2)

We visited Full Circle Trade and Thrift while visiting Flagstaff for a summer vacation This is one of my favorite places in Flagstaff, and I have been there many times On our last visit, I experienced a very negative interaction with the owner of the shop It started with my year old daughter wanting to try on some gloves, which she was instructed to do by an employee of the shop She went to the owner to ask for the selection He stated that he did not have any My daughter went back to the employee to inquire again, and she accompanied her back up to the front desk and produced a box of gloves She began to try on the gloves along with her younger sister She only tried on two pair, and the owner took them from her and told her she was not to try anymore on My daughter came to me and told me what happened I went to inquire about the problem to the owner who said that "I should babysit her because he would not." She is and was very polite in her asking for the gloves He proceeded to take the item we wanted to purchase and told us "goodbye." I told him that he was not making a good business decision and that we would not be back He sarcastically retorted, "We will miss you." The interaction was absolutely unbelievable Both my husband and I exited the store with our daughters, the year old in tears I have not been treated so terribly in a retail setting It is unfortunate because the business carries good products My resolution to this is to simply suggest that this owner be helpful, respectful, and kind to the customers who want to patronize this store

We visited Full Circle Trade and Thrift while visiting Flagstaff for a summer vacation. This is one of my favorite places in Flagstaff, and I have been there many times. On our last visit, I experienced a very negative interaction with the owner of the shop. It started with my 11 year old daughter wanting to try on some gloves, which she was instructed to do by an employee of the shop. She went to the owner to ask for the selection. He stated that he did not have any. My daughter went back to the employee to inquire again, and she accompanied her back up to the front desk and produced a box of gloves. She began to try on the gloves along with her younger sister. She only tried on two pair, and the owner took them from her and told her she was not to try anymore on. My daughter came to me and told me what happened. I went to inquire about the problem to the owner who said that "I should babysit her because he would not." She is 11 and was very polite in her asking for the gloves. He proceeded to take the item we wanted to purchase and told us "goodbye." I told him that he was not making a good business decision and that we would not be back. He sarcastically retorted, "We will miss you." The interaction was absolutely unbelievable. Both my husband and I exited the store with our daughters, the 11 year old in tears. I have not been treated so terribly in a retail setting. It is unfortunate because the business carries good products. My resolution to this is to simply suggest that this owner be helpful, respectful, and kind to the customers who want to patronize this store.
