Review: Full Measure was contracted to replace the Deck on the rear of my home located at [redacted]. Item #1. Building permits were not filed with the Township of Barnegat. Code Enforcement served me with a summons to correct the problem. [redacted] was notified several time and failed to correct the issues. Item #2. The work done was not done in a professional manor and part of the project was properly finished. The top rail of the deck was butchered ..... and the fascia board under the deck was left exposed. Shingles that were broken as part of the construction were not properly repaired.Desired Settlement: I will need to hire a second contractor. Have the second contractor document the deck as built. Submit the drawings to the township and obtain the permits. Have the Building inspector, inspect the deck. Have the contractor correct any deficiencies and replace the top rail of the deck, repair the broken shingles and cover the exposed fascia board under the deck. I would ask that [redacted] correct and complete the project immediately or pay for the cost of the second contractor.
