Review: On 8/8/14 - I purchased $4 in Lottery tickets and used my ATM card and requested Cash Back of $15. My receipt reflected a total charge of $20.50 ($.50 charge for the Debit transaction and $16 cash back). The merchant gave me $15 cash back which was what I originally requested. 1. The machine did not tell me that there was a $.50 charge, and 2. The merchant kept $1 of my cash back! When I asked why, the merchant told me that it is standard for them to charge $1 for up to $20 cash back, $2 for $30, etc. etc. I told the merchant that it is not legal for him to charge a customer without notifying them in advance or posting the charges for the customer to make a decision in advance. He told me everyone charges that amount, and I stated yes, but they post the amounts and I choose if I wish to use it based on the amount being charged. He said, you must not be a regular customer, because all his regular customers know this. His merchant ID is [redacted] and the terminal ID is [redacted].
