I am rejecting this response because: I never indicated it was an urgent matter Renee told me they felt it was an urgent matterOn the morning of the 9th, and she also informed me they had only started a rough draftA $fee for the beginning of a rough draft is an extreme feeAlso I called for a month trying to speak to MrB***, or MrF* to try and come upon an agreement on the charge, and never got to speak to either of themOne time MrB*** called me, and I asked him about the feeHe informed me it would be up to MrF* on what that would beIt took one month for them to give any kind of refund for the start of a rough draft, and I have still to this day never heard from MrF* except in an email indicating I would only be receiving a $refund because my credit card is disputing the chargeIt is hard to believe they even had anything done for that case, when they have had almost an entire year to finish my wives case and have not done still to this day

We are attaching to this letter the Statement of Account, and, the letter we provided to theclient explaining the charges. The clients hired us on June 6, 2017, for an urgent matterregarding an adoption that, according to them, they needed done right away. Weimmediately began the process, and,...

stayed late in the evening to do so. The client thencalled on June 9, 2017, stating that the children had changed their mind about beingadopted. We immediately stopped working on the adoption case, but, had already incurredattorney's fees in the amount of S625.00. The client did not give us a chance to refund theremaining balance on the retainer, and, instead immediately disputed the full amount withtheir credit card.We are willing to refund the unused portion of the retainer, through the credit carddispute, however, we do believe we should be compensated for the attorney's fees that arereflected on the Statement of Account, as they had already been provided to the client,even if they later deeided they did not need them.If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office to follow up.Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.Yours truly,Greg *.
