I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.They failed to get back to me regarding them ever coming to any type of decision. Their communication is terrible.  And to accuse me of constantly bad mouthing them on [redacted] is a flat out lie. I have only written one complaint about them and that is my right of free speech.  I still feel entitled to monetary compensation for how they continue to be so uncaring and untruthful.  I still would likr to be compensated the complete amount or my complaint will remain here, [redacted], and any other wedding website that allows me to express my opinions and personal experience with that organization.

Our House Committee and Trustees reviewed the contract very closely and determined that the client received what she had contracted .
 The client was provided what she paid for in her contract.  Any other line items that she observed in the other room were never contracted for not paid for, therefore we delivered the most professional service based on her contract.
We are profoundly sorry that our best efforts were not up to expectations.  In speaking to our servers many of the guests expressed what a wonderful event it was.

Review: 1. There was no draping on the ceiling. He promised us that ceiling would be draped. He even had us select the color. Told us he would go by the color of drape if he didn't have it.2. There was no up lighting on the walls. Again he has us select the color to make sure that was the color that we wanted.3. The tables were all wrong. He told us in order to accommodate our party he would need to do 20 Tables of 10 people each. So we created a seating chart based of that. When our guests arrived there were all kinds of tables some with 8 chairs some with 12 chairs. People had to find a place to sit on their own. We had our guests asking us where they were supposed to sit. That is a major problem. I wasted my time making a seating chart for 200 people for nothing! He finally admitted to my mother in law that they ran out of tables, even though I paid for a venue for 200 people.4. We had preselected the wine that we wanted behind the bar since we paid for that. He even had us write down the wine we wanted. The pinot grigio and mezzacorona. When we asked the bartender for that they said they had no idea what we were talking about. That all they had was their regular house wine.5. Our personal things were thrown away by the service staff. Had my bridesmaid not said something all of our glass mini mason jars would have been thrown away. We recovered some but not all. We spent over $300 dollars on those jars alone!6. Items were missing. Two burlap purses and a jar of pins went missing. Those were needed for the money dance. When that time came we did not have those items and had to make do on our own.7. The back patio lights were supposed to be lit up. They were not on at all the entire evening.8. He was supposed to have specific sized tables placed throughout the banquet room for specific decor that we supplied. When we arrived they were the wrong size and in the wrong place. He said he had to do that because again, he ran out of tables and had no room. Why did he not already know that.9. The children's food was in the back and separate from the main food line. He said he had to do that because he again did not have enough tables! No one even knew the food was back there for the kids.When we originally met with [redacted] he quoted us $3300 for food and ALL decor linens, draping, lighting for 150 adults and 50 children. Then he added $750 on our second meeting because we added to the food menu to include chicken and tri-tip. We understood that. Then when my husband came in to pay the final balance he was told it was $5000. He tried to justify that cost based off having to supply the linens and decor and some new yellow napkins he had to buy (which we never ordered or approved). So my husband paid it. Assuming we had nothing to worry about and everything would be taken care of. The day if the wedding nothing was done that was promised. And when [redacted] was confronted by my husband he was told he got what he paid for and walked away. Not once was I asked by [redacted] how everything was. I felt avoided and felt our reception was neglected. He even had the nerve to take my mother in law and sister to the other nicely decorated room to show them what he did for those people and not for us. It was obvious that all his time and effort was spent on the other wedding that was going on that night. I don't know what the point of that was. That was rude, mean, disrespectful, and very unprofessional.After the wedding I brought my complaints to the Sales Manager Irene Imhof's attention. She said they were taking it very seriously and it would be addressed and brought up to [redacted] and the Elk's members, to see what they could do for us. I got the run around for about 2-3 months. Saying that they were going to bring it up at the next member meeting. Then the so-called "exalted ruler" [redacted] kept saying he was going to help us. Then he stopped calling me and would no longer take my calls. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks! Get everything in writing with them. Do not trust them. They ruined the most important day of my life and could care less about it.Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded $500.00 for napkins we never ordered or approved. Also $750.00 for food that was not seen nor served because it was in a separate room, $300.00 for personal property that was thrown away, and $300.00 bar refund for what was put down on the bar that did not stock with what they promise would be stocked. Total $1850.00 is the least they could do for our losses that day.
