This letter is a confirmation that we have received your letter dated December 20, 2013, regarding a complaint, ID [redacted], which was received by our office on January 2, 2014, about our business, Fullington Trailways, LLC. The complaint was from one o f our customers, [redacted], [redacted], regarding his book bag containing personal items such as five CD’s, clothing, I-phone charger, and two brushes that were lost. As o f the date that the company received this complaint from the Revdex.com we were not aware o f the lost book bag. Therefore, we could not take the necessary actions required to try to locate the lost items in question. After receiving this complaint I began an investigation into the lost items and had spoken with each of our Trailways Managers to question if they had a book bag at their company location or if they had taken a telephone call from Mr. [redacted] with regards to the lost items. The book bag was not located at any o f our locations as o f this time. 1 then contacted Mr. [redacted] to question the details o f the items lost in question. In addition, questioned if he had made any o f our employees aware o f the situation. He stated that he had spoken with a [redacted] that is located in the Wilkes-Barre terminal that turns out to be an employee o f [redacted]. I told Mr. [redacted] that I had not found his lost items; however, I would be sending him a Baggage Tracer/Claim form that would need to be completed and sent back to us to reimburse him up to $250.00 for his lost luggage. Once we receive the form back we would process the form and issue a check in the appropriate amount to cover his lost items. I emailed and also sent in US Mail the Baggage Tracer Claim form with a self-addressed envelope to Mr. [redacted] to be completed and returned to Fullington Trailways, LLC with the understanding that it would be processed as soon as possible once we received the information. Desire Settlements: Mr. [redacted] is requesting his lost luggage and we cannot provide his actual book bag; however, we will be issuing a reimbursement up to $250.00 to cover his lost items as our company policy states on the luggage tags that are attached to the luggage and also a copy is given to the customer.
