Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is & is not satisfactory to meThough it is satisfactory their response is not entirely accurate Though Fulton Medical Clinic is a subsidiary of Fulton Medical center billing is and should be seporateI did recieve a notice of a supposed refund, at the time I filed this complaint I had not recieved said refundAs a result of this complaint they have denied my spouse and I medical careThe bill they applied the Dr Office visit funds to has been in dispute, in february my wife had a heart attack was admitted through the hospital Emergency Room, then transfered to [redacted] Hospital, by ambulanceFulton Medical Center did bill Her health insurance, but refused to appropriately bill medicare which My wife also hasThey are trying to collect funds from us instead of completing the proper billing proceduresOnce we see any evidence of any attempt to bill Medicare we can work to clear their billing issues up Sincerely, [redacted]

We have received complaint ID on 10/31/Fulton Medical Center has always strived to follow appropriate and legal business practicesFulton Medical Clinic is a department of Fulton Medical Center and is not a seperate entityThe patient visit was on 10/17/at the Fulton Medical
Center ClinicWhen insurance information was run a balance of $owed was shownIt is unclear why this was showing but the amount was paid by the patientOn 10/18/the patient's husband informed the clinic that the Explanation of Benefits statement did show that all out of pocket expenses had been metOn 10/20/at 2:AM the patient's husband sent a message to the clinic manager about wanting refunded again and stated unfair billing practices of applying that amount to an outstanding balanceLater in the day the clinic manager sen an e-mail and message to the patient's husbandThe practice of applying overpaid amounts from on account to another account with an outstanding balance within the same organization is a common business practice the industryDespite this, we did inform him we would refund the amount of $The clinic manager explained this in the e-mail to the patient's husband on 10/20/The patient's husband was also concerned that the money was not taken out of his account until 10/20/The clinic manager explained that there is a delay when transferring finds on credit/bank cardsShe did tell him that it would take several days for the money to process back to his account alsoAccording to our records the refund should have been received by their bank on 10/28/Fulton Medical Center acted in accordance with industry practice and in compliance with regulations and did not misappropriate fundsThe funds were not applied to another facility outside of Fulton Medical Center but within the same entityIn good faith and to avoid further negative discussions regarding the situation we did refund the amount of $The patient's husband was informed of this on 10/20/
