Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: it is unsatisfactory. The woman representing this business lacks basic customer service skills. Her response to my complaint reflects this and comes as no surprise. It is unfortunate that she is unable to resolve our conflict in a positive manner considering how long she has worked for the company (that she told me she owns...?). Also, her version of events is not accurate as she interrupted me every time I would speak and I was not able to communicate in our very one-sided conversation. In addition, her tone and comments were offensive. I understand her dilemma with our property and had she been a pleasant individual to deal with, this complaint could have been avoided. Our home is historic, nearly years old, and the maintenance is continuous. I deal with numerous businesses and people often. In order to get work done it behooves me to be as friendly as positive to everyone I deal with. The woman with Fulton Surveying made that impossible to do. To date, I have never filed a complaint with Revdex.com. Let that be the prevailing message.

June 23, 2017[redacted]RE: ID# [redacted]Dear [redacted]In response to your letter of complain, we appreciate the opportunity to present the other side of our situation.I received a call from Ms. [redacted] asking us to...

locate the North line of a piece of property we had surveyed in May, 2000. As a licensed professional land surveyor, it is my job duty to protect the public so I tried to explain to her the process that would need to happen to do that to protect her and the adjoining properties from establishing a line that was not in the correct place. To establish one property line, we would need to locate all of her corners to verify all of her property lines. Drawing a line between two irons ('corner') does not establish a property line. A line is not a property line until all of the corners are located and checked for angle and distance to recreate the described property on the ground.I told Ms. [redacted] we charged by the hour ($125.00/hr. for a 2-man crew) to locate corners. She agreed to the charge and told us to come out but a time and day was not set. We came out at our first opportunity and located the property corners. I invoiced $250.00 for the 2 hours our crew spent on the property locating the corners.I received a call from the [redacted] party informing me that we had not flagged the length of the north property line. First opportunity, I sent the same crew back. The [redacted] property is a +1.37 acre tract with some trees. There is not a line of sight from the front to back so the crew set a couple of traverse points in the open from which they would be able to turn angles and distances to the property line. they wrote down the information of their traverse point locations so I could find the relationship of the traverse points with the northwest and northeast property corners that were established on the first visit. With that information, I was able to calculate coordinates that the crew could turn an angle and distance from their traverse points to set a point on the north property line. The two additional visits, one to set and tie the traverse points and the other to stake the north property line came to a total of 3 hours ($375.00) for both visits. The calculation time/cost in the office was not included in the invoice.I tried to explain this to Ms. [redacted] when she called inquiring about the second invoice. About the third or fourth time I was interrupted trying to explain the process and what the invoice was for, I finished my explanation while she was still interrupting. At that time she told me I was rude. With all of the time and effort that goes into a job, I think it helps to explain it. To be interrupted and called rude when I was trying to explain it, the reason of her call, I thought that was just as unprofessional of her. After she said I was rude, I told her she was rude, as well.I've been with this company for 27 years and have always put the customer first.Sincerely,[redacted]
