I’ve been teaching swimming for over years, and this is the first complaint that I’ve received from the Revdex.comI am a licensed swim school at my homeI have taught thousands of successful and happy students who love and enjoy swimming.June 2, [redacted] phoned me to sign up her children, a girl four years old and a boy age two, (who was going to be three on July 3rd)I told her the details of my program and that it was a minimum eight week commitment from June thru August This was a verbal agreement and would require a deposit of $that would apply to the first two weeks of lessonsI also told her that her son would have to wear a permanent swim diaper for sanitary reasons and she verbally agreed to the eight week commitment. On June 21, [redacted] and her two children came to my pool area to visit and pay her depositAt that time, my other instructor spoke with her and received her deposit and she gave the client a new parent letter that explains all the rulesI have enclosed a copy for you.On June 27, 2016, the other mothers were shocked that Mrs [redacted] did not follow my rules, but they were not horrified, in fact they continued to bring their children to swim class and they are all progressing nicelyWhen she called me the following day after their swim lesson time had passed, and told me they would not returnI did NOT laugh at her, I was sad that she would quitPeople who quit never succeed in anything they try to accomplish. We had a verbal agreement, which is legal in California, I will not refund her deposit, however, I will not persue payment for the other six weeks.Sincerely, [redacted] Fun “N Swim

[redacted] has a swim school in her home. I paid $260 up front for 2 weeks of classes for my 2 and 4 year old. The first day of class, the instructor told me I had to hide in her garage because my 2 year old was crying. I watched as my 2 year old screamed mommy (he did not know where I was and was his first time in swim class) for 20 minutes. His 4 year old sister in class tried to comfort him but the instructor told her she was not allowed. After his lesson he was left ALONE in the deep end in a floaty screaming for me while the teachers taught other kids. I left the garage to get him and the lady yelled at me and told me I was not obeying the rules and I had to leave him alone and return to the garage this second!! It was a horrible experience for both my children as well as myself. The other moms there were shocked and horrified as well. When I called her the next day to tell her we would not return she laughed at me and said I was making a big mistake and REFUSED to refund my
