I would give Wise Auto Care my highest rating They have done some extensive work on four of my cars and have done a great job on all of them I trust them to properly diagnose problems, troubleshoot possible future difficulties, and professionally fix them the first time Once they have worked on my cars the problems are completely repaired and I have not had to return He tries hard to keep the price down as well All I can say for sure is that my old (200,miles +) cars are running great thanks to Andy at Wise Auto Care
On 8/Wise Auto Care towed my Mercury Mariner to their shop for repair I picked it up on 8/and paid $1,for the replacement of a new alternator, battery, and some smaller miscellaneous repairs On 8/it had to be towed again for the same issue This time I was told that the replacement alternator was defective and again a new alternator and battery were installed On both occasions I was told that no code appeared when hooked up to diagnostics I refused to pay anything additional as this work should have all been covered under warranty On 9/the vehicle showed signs of failing again so I took it to a different automotive shop right away They do not have diagnostics equipment but tested the battery at very low voltage so replaced it with a third battery at a cost of $since they had not done the original work On 9/the vehicle showed signs of failing yet again so I took it to a dealership service department As soon as they hooked it up to diagno
I took my Pontiac Grand Prix GTP to Wise auto care because of a knock in the engine I was told I needed a motor replacement and we agreed to purchase a used engine with no more than miles on it and from another GM and that he would switch over all necessary parts from my motor to the newly purchased motor including super charger exhaust manifolds ,pulleys ,water pump timing chain and belts
We took the car in and paid down and financed on 3/31/and told it would be done by 4/9/or 4/14/i also wanted the rear struts that were under warranty replaced and sway bar links,front break pads and fuel filter replaced
We picked the car up on 4/22/at the time the car had been running and warmed up as he went over everything with us (so we could not hear how loud the exhaust was at that time) and at this time he told us of the unauthorized work he had done to the car,he replaced the 3rd break light for a total of 28.48,turned the rotors for ,rota
