Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:My boat was tied up in a slip at a marina and not on a lift.Since you are in the "boat business" you should also know that all marinas have a NO WAKE zone. You should also know that the G3 Sportsman 17 is made to take on water. It is equipped with an automatic bilge system that automatically senses when there is excessive water in the bilge and pumps it out.Unfortunately there is no bilge pump that can handle water constantly coming in to no end. Thanks to the Fun-N-Sun service department and the poor installation job they did, that is exactly what happened.Thank GOD it was tied up or else it would have been at the bottom of the lake. As for not having the plug in the boat - How far do you think I would get from the boat launch area before the automatic bilge system kicked in to warn me about excessive water coming in? ........................................................................."A... in the boat business (or with boat common sense) knows an aluminum boat due to the fact it is a low sided should not be left in the water over night much less an extended period of time."— [redacted]......................................................................... you are saying I have no common sense - which is basically calling me stupid. How professional of you [redacted]. This has got to be one of the saddest statements I have ever heard from management.Hey buy this fancy boat - but - don’t let it sit in the water over night much less an extended period of time.  I understand the impact of leaving this boat in the water year around but that not what the issue is here.  .......................................................................... is no proof of what happened to [redacted] Maldonado’s boat but I can assure you it was not caused by the installation of the shallow water anchor."— [redacted]......................................................................... can assure you sir that I have proof. You would know that had you talked to me directly in the first place instead of pawning me off to your service manager.I sent him documentation and a video of where the leak was coming from.I asked him to return my call so that we can discuss further but that call never came.Seems to me like he had something to hide from you. I want to thank you for your most recent response. It only provides me with more proof of the carelessness and lack of professionalism that I have received from you and Fun-N-Sun.

The complaint ID # [redacted] from [redacted] is a false claim. We installed a shallow water anchor on his boat. This is a service we provide many customers each year. The customer claims his boat sunk due to not using epoxy during installation when we always do. His boat was tied up in a slip and...

not hoisted in a boat sling so any passing boat could have pushed water in to the boat or not having the plug in the boat. Anyone in the boat business (or with boat common sense)knows an aluminum boat due to the fact it is a low sided should not be left in the water over night much less an extended period of time. There is no proof of what happened to [redacted]’s boat but I can assure you it was not caused by the installation of the shallow water anchor. Thanks, [redacted]
