Fun-Nastics Reviews (3)

To who it may concernI am writing in response to a complaint I received from [redacted]'s mommy)[redacted] filled out the registration form for [redacted], hjer daughter; to attend our weekly fun Nastics classes held at her preschool and signed it Oust like everyone...

who is enrolled in our program does).  As she-stated, our registration form states that we assume your child is enrolled until you inform us and we had not received any type of notification, which is why [redacted] continued to take our tumbling classes each week along with everyone else who was signed up. Our company sends out monthly statements and since she had provided her email address, as a majority of our parents do, we emailed her monthly statements that are generated automatically through quick books. Nothing was paid to us and that is why in December (after not receiving payment for November) we printed out an invoice and left it for [redacted] to take home to her mom per the request of the schools director [redacted] also noted that [redacted] is signed up for dance classes through an outside program at the school (like us) and had also not paid for those classes either and had issues with payment withthat company as well. Something I have not brought up to her simply because it is not my business and im just trying to make sure the services my company and my teachers provided are paid for.
We didn't receive payment again in January and I had called and left amessage to please let us know so we can continue to take [redacted]. I calledand left a message again on February 5th and stated that we would betaking [redacted] out of classes and sending this bill to collections by the endof the month if we didn't receive at least partial payment. February 14th Ifinally spoke with [redacted]'s mother. She said she definitely wanted herdaughter in the program and would leave a check for half of the amount$102. I said that was fine and we were happy to continue to take [redacted]because she loves it and that I understand being_ behind on payment wejust needed to get something in so I could pay my teachers. We receivedthe check after she left it for us and then got an email stating that shenever said she would let [redacted] stay in classes and she wanted todiscontinue the classes. This was news to me since she had already leftpayment in which case to me meant she understood [redacted] was in faceattending the classes! So to try and argue that she was unaware of theclasses that [redacted] was attending is very dishonest to me. She proceededto be very rude and argumentative on this matter. I am not charging anylate fees or anything and told her we would not send it to collections aslong as we received the payment. I think that is a fair statement as I amjust trying to run my business and have NEVER had a single complaintsent to the Revdex.com in my 6 years of owning this business. I take a lot of pridein what we do and our desire to just want to teach children how to tumbleand move and do something fun once a week! We are in schoolsthroughout San Diego, Orange County and Imperial Valley and we havenever had a complaint like this. We have over 600 kids in our database. We are a very honest and open company and being a mother of twinsmyself I take pride in being flexible with payment bee-ause I understandthat people forget and slip, which is why we do not cancel a child's accountright away because it's not fair to the child. At the end of the day makingthe kids happy is what we care about the most, which again, is why I don'tcome and hound people for tuition payment on the 1st of each month! However after a few months of not seeing payment we have to contact thefamily and see how we can get paid for the service rendered, I think that'sunderstandable. I also find it unsettling that for 3 months [redacted] didn'tknow her child was taking a tumbling class at her preschool. My twinsattend preschool and I know everything that goes on especially when it issomething that occurs weekly
.If she didn't want her to participate, like all of our students, she just had tolet us know. I would NEVER and have NEVER kept a child enrolled if aparent or guardian of the child wishes to cancel their enrollment.Thank you for your time.
Warm regards

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
To [redacted], Revdex.com and Fun Nastics Owner [redacted]
I am responding to the recent response of the Fun Nastics owner,
The letter written by Fun Nastics Owner [redacted] has made many discrepancies in her typed response to my complaint. She has accused me of dishonesty, as well as judging my parenthood. I have filed this complaint because Fun Nastics Owner [redacted] has not provided me with any true clear proof supporting her judgment to charge me for 4 months of classes that I was unaware of. [redacted] and I have spoken on the phone only one time, February 13th. I have received one other phone call from her leaving a message February 4th. I have checked my phone records for the phone number she called me with in good faith that she was speaking the truth, I also checked my emails in spam and trash and inbox. I did NOT get any emails from her or her business. When [redacted] and I spoke on the phone she asked me if my Email was "[redacted]ssouls", I corrected her and reminded her that my email is on the contract she provided along with my phone number. I later emailed [redacted] requesting proof of the emails she said were sent to me, she emailed me invoices that provided no proof. When I asked for more proof or phone numbers she did not respond to my emails. I find it EXTREMELY UNFAIR that [redacted] uses her contract terms against me, yet she failed to use the information I provided in the contract to directly contact me. I have made the mistake of signing the contract in the first place, I would not have signed a contract such as the fun Nastics contract due to its "lock in payment" scheme. It is unrealistic and [redacted] abuses the contract in her favor. I find it unsettling that she has attempted to manipulate the third-party {Revdex.com} with false information accusing me of being aware and dishonest that [redacted] was attending the Fun Nastics classes for four months, her statement is false and I have proof. [redacted] has not mentioned it once to me nor my whole family who she spends time with her regularly. I also find it disturbing that after making such an accusation [redacted] then acknowledges the fact that I truly did not know [redacted] was taking the tumbling classes by [redacted]'s statement "I also find it unsettling that for 3 months [redacted] didn't know her child was taking a tumbling class at her preschool". My daughter [redacted] attends a school/daycare that provides highly qualified teachers to supervise children while I am at work. For you to involve the director of the school in this matter without her consent is wrong and threatening to her and the business that she works for. It is unfortunate that my daughter did not enjoy Fun Nastics class enough to bring it up to her family. [redacted] was very defensive the first time we spoke, there was poor communication, and I feel as if she convinced herself I was not going to be honest before even we spoke. This is valid reason the contract is unrealistic, as it caused confusion and miss communication . I have continuously maintained great credit and will continue to keep it that way, it also the one and only reason [redacted] was paid before this dispute was handled. I would rather pay the fee and take [redacted] Bolcoa to small claims court than ruin my credit. It makes perfect sense for someone who protects their credit. I am giving [redacted] Bolcoa an opportunity to negotiate with me and look into her records to see that she is wrong. However if she has proof, I ask her to offer it and I will accept that, otherwise the proof I carry shows [redacted] Bolcoa has lied and misused her powers as a business owner.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: My 5 year old daughter attends preschool where Fun-nastics offers their gymnastic services.Five months ago I wanted my daughter to try out the service and see if she liked it. So I chose to pay for one month, not seeing the statement on the contract that states "We assume your child is attending on a monthly basis. If you decide to withdraw your child, please notify us in writing." Well I made a mistake and didn't notice that their policy was very unrealistic and locks me in for a lifetime of payment if possible. Five months later I get a phone call (Friday the 13th,2015), from the Fun-nastics owner threatening me saying they will send my 204.00$ bill to collections even though I didn't even know my daughter was still taking this class. I feel set up. There was no communication, I did not get any emails or phone calls but one with a threat. She should not have waited 5 months to notify me or should I say... decide to communicate when the bill was so high. It's a fact the assumption that is statestated in their contract creates much room communication and therefore bad buisness. I know that will happen to someone else. The contract should be changed to promote good communication, thus building a strong successful buisness. I don't feel I should pay for something I was never aware of and suddenly have my credit threatened. The contract is very misleading and unrealistic.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund without my credit threatend.
