Ran into the same issue as the other review Many "empty" promises Here's the frustration, in order to talk to an agent about the "incentive" awarded cost us $49/person AND $99/person Basically, $gone before they tell you the rules are the rules and they are NOT FLEXIBLE - AT ALL At which point, you're out a minimum of $($49/person) because as the rules say, it is "non-refundable" and to receive the $($99/person) back, you have to send a certified letter formally requesting the return of YOUR money Talk about a bait and switch Additionally, the price they quoted for a trip was $100/person higher than I could book it for over the internet myself From my research, they were Sun Travel at one location in Philly and now they're Fun Times Travel (still in Philly, different location) making me question their credibility as a real business especially in light of the fact that they are NOT Revdex.com accredited

February 16, 2017Dear *** ***,Hello and greetingsFun Times Travel, LLC (herein "FTT") is in receipt of your missive dated February 13, With that, the following is FTT's Formal Response:On January 2, FTT received the Complainant's Activation Coupon (EXHIBIT "A"), with two (2) money
orders (#*** & #***) each for $The $per person Activation Fee is a non-refundable registration service fee, as indicated at EXHIBIT “B” (a) #2.On February 6, FTT sent the Complainant, via USPS, our Welcome PacketOf which includes the Reservation Request Form and Rules of Participation. The next and only time that we heard from the Complainant was on Monday February 13, Whereby, the Complainant requested clarification as to the Rules and ProceduresWith that, Complainant voiced his discontent with Jerry when she instructed that the Terms and Conditions are the Rules of Procedure - and they cannot be circumventedAt this point, it was agreed that the Complainant read and understood the rules, as he indicated in EXHIBIT "A"Next, it was explained that the Terms and Conditions dictated the process and performance, as indicated in EXHIBIT “B” (a) #3.In closingFTT has no idea as to how the Complainant came to the sum of “$198.00"? But, the Activation Fee is a non-refundable service fee.Thank you, in advance, for your time, consideration and further assistance with this and any related mattersAgain, Fun Time Travel appreciates this Honorable Agency and will continue to work with you in order to provide the quality customer service expected from our company and our productsGood day.Respectfully submitted,Tanya O. Customer Services Officer

this company required a $(and 49) up front fee, nonrefundable, prior to any service from them up front presentation did not disclose this and advertised "free" airline flight for two after a person paid the airport taxes however fun time travel requires $per person prior any scheduled flights up front presentation led us to believe that anywhere conus was open to fly to and from to not so when later we asked, their was only two possible destinations availableconditions a person must comply with in order to get air fare was at best very difficult to comply withso we have chosen to forgo the $paid earlier

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because it does not address any of the original listed complaints
1.Issue #The processing fee was paidThe company should not request additional processing fees every time they generate a letterI don’t know how many correspondences this transaction requires but FTT cannot charge a new processing fee each time we communicateNothing has been processed to date except lettersNo further processing fees were mentioned in the original contract
2.Issue #This certificate is for couples, not singlesThis implies co-habitationNo couple wants to sleep in a bunk bedThis is a further attempt to get more money in the guise of an upgradeWe are not requiring an upgrade, only a cabin for a married couple
3.Issue #The attached copy of the front cover of the cruise vacation certificate clearly states a choice of cruise getaways from the following ports of which were NOT provided on the ‘Cruise choice selections’;
New Orleans, San Diego, Tampa, Galveston, Jacksonville, New York, Boston, Norfolk, Baltimore, Fort Lauderdale
FTT only provided a choice of port destinations out of choices on the certificate
This clearly does not meet the requirements of the original contract
4.We have used other companies’ cruise certificates and when they state choices, it means of the same departure/destinationNot one choice of a specific destination, one choice of another destination, and a final choice of a third destination
This is clearly represented looking at the attached cruise choice selection where it supplies at least dates to each destinationWhy did they provide the December dates if not to meet the requirements of dates per destination? To state that we have a choice of only dates on only destinations is a breach of the original terms of service
5.The representative is incorrect in stating that we have dates on the Orlando/Port Canaveral cruise since the expiration date is November 5, and the second choice date is November 8,
6.Finally, FTT does not have a star customer service as it is not even listed with the Revdex.com and I can only find complaints, no praises, when I search this company on the web
If they truly wish to provide good customer service, then FTT can send me the requested full refund and stop keeping my moneys when no processing or service has been provided
Sincerely

This is my reply to FTT's last responseRE-Revdex.com Complaint against Fun Times Travel (FTT) ID *** - Reject response I am so surprised that this company continues to misrepresent the issues and deny a simple request for a refund for not supplying the advertised serviceThis is not complicated for an honest company that supposedly values customer satisfactionIn regards to ‘Fun Times Travel 03-13-response; Statement #states; “On February 20, 2015, FTT received this instant complaint, sans any contact from Participant.” This is in total contradiction to the previous statement #which states that a refund request letter was received from the participant on January 23, I would consider a ‘refund request letter’ a valid form of contactI spoke via telephone to representatives concerning the issue of not supplying valid cruise dates to which they instructed to send my request in a letterHow is this ‘sans any contact’? To be issued a travel credit from a travel agency that does not provide valid travel arrangements is not a satisfactory response to a refund requestWhy would I want to try to book another travel cruise when this agency could not provide valid cruise dates as advertised? FTT response states; “Our company does not require any additional processing fees…” Wrong againWhat do you call the request for an additional non-refundable Service fee amount of $per person (total of $118.00) required after we already paid the $processing fee and $deposit (total of $198.00)? This is obviously an additional processing fee requested on the first correspondence letter from FTTFTT states; “Participant states that certain cruise ports were not listed on the Cruise Choice Selection FormIt does not mean that they are not available.” So FTT is saying that we should assume that other Cruise selections are available that are not listed on the Cruise Choice Selection FormThe form does not say thisWhy would FTT not list all cruise choices available? I did call asking why we could not get cruise choices to a single destination as advertised and the response is that we would need to pay more money to get other choicesObviously this is another attempt to get more money until we end up paying the full cruise price, not the discounted promotional cost of a cruiseI am only asking that this self-acclaimed ‘premium promotional incentive’ company abide itself by its own Terms and Conditions and provide valid cruise dates to each destination within the allotted time period without non-disclosed extra processing feesIf this contracted service cannot be provided, then refund my moneys as no service has been provided, not a travel creditThis agency states that man-hours in administrative action have lapsed with no valid service has been renderedRather than spending these man-hours disputing valid complaints, try to resolve the issues, save time and preserve customer satisfactionI will not be satisfied until FTT provides a full refund or cruise dates to destination of my choice without further processing fees.TranslateDesired Settlement / OutcomeDesired Settlement: selectDesired Outcome: FTT should provide a full refund or cruise dates to destination of my choice without further processing fees as advertised.Transl

Dear *** ***,Hello and greetings. Fun Times Travel (herein “FTT”) is in receipt of your December 30, 2014, January 13, 2015, and January 21, 2015 missives, concerning the above-mentioned Complaint, and the following is FTT's formal response:
First and foremost,...

in order to lend clarity to this matter, we must review a chronological order of the events that have occurred.1. *** *** (“PARTICIPANT’’ herein) attended a sales seminar conducted by *** *** ***, on or about August 26, 2014 and was thereby issued a Fun Times Travel (herein “FTT”) “2 Night Hotel Accommodation, 2 Round-Trip Airline Tickets and $100 Dining Card!” promotional incentive offer (SEE: EXHIBIT “A”, attached hereto). FTT does not conduct any Direct Mailings or Sales Seminars.2. On September 3, 2014 FTT received the Participant’s Activation Coupon, and on September 12, 2014 we received the requisite, non-refundable $49 per person Activation Fee (EXHIBIT “A”).3. On September 15, 2014 FTT provided the Participant with the Vacation Reservation Packet, via USPS, along with the $100.00 Dining Gift Card (***#).
4. On December 5, 2014 FTT contacted the Participant to provide travel quotes and left a voice mail. On December 23, 2014 the Participant called and was told he would be contacted back within 48 hours. On December 26, 2014 the Participant was called to provide travel quotes. The Participants were upset stating they received “FREE” Airline and Hotel. FTT has never promised, nor issued any “FREE” Promotional Incentive Offer. (SEE: EXHIBIT “A”, (a) # 4). Whereby, the participant knows that there are costs associated with all travel, and said costs are the responsibility of the traveler.
5. Participant knew that he was responsible for stated charges/costs, as he placed his signature where it states: “*By signing this form, traveler represents that they have read, understand and agree to be bound by the attached terms and conditions.” (SEE: EXHIBIT “B”).
6. FTT received a refund request letter on January 20, 2015. “Travel credits are issued in lieu of any refund.” (SEE: EXHIBIT “A” #7) FTT issues Travel Credits within 30 days. The Participant was issued a Travel Credit on February 9, 2015. (SEE: EXHIBIT “C”) The Participant was never denied a Travel Credit.
In closing, it is our constant endeavor, as a premium promotional incentive company, to always provide top-notch promotional incentive offers and customer service. We here at FTT, respectfully request of this honorable agency to lend direction as to what is expected when participants refuse to abide by the well established Terms and Conditions. As this instant matter has now exceeded 10 man-hours in administrative fees alone.
Thank you, in advance for your anticipated assistance and continued cooperation to the above and any related instances. Good day.

Ran into the same issue as the other review. Many "empty" promises. Here's the frustration, in order to talk to an agent about the "incentive" awarded cost us $49/person AND $99/person. Basically, $300 gone before they tell you the rules are the rules and they are NOT FLEXIBLE - AT ALL. At which point, you're out a minimum of $98 ($49/person) because as the rules say, it is "non-refundable" and to receive the $198 ($99/person) back, you have to send a certified letter formally requesting the return of YOUR money. Talk about a bait and switch. Additionally, the price they quoted for a trip was $100/person higher than I could book it for over the internet myself. From my research, they were Sun Travel at one location in Philly and now they're Fun Times Travel (still in Philly, different location) making me question their credibility as a real business especially in light of the fact that they are NOT Revdex.com accredited.

March 13, 2015Dear [redacted],
Hello and greetings. We are in receipt of your March 2, and March 3, 2015 missives, concerning the above-mentioned complaint, and the following is our formal Response:
First and foremost, in order to lend clarity to this issue, we must review a chronological order of the events that have occurred.
1. [redacted] (“PARTICIPANT’’ herein) attended a sales seminar on or about November 5, 2014 and was thereby issued a Fun Times Travel (herein “FTT”) “Cruise” promotional incentive offer (SEE: EXHIBIT “A”, attached hereto). FTT does not conduct any Direct Mailings or Sales Seminars.
2. On November 19, 2014 FTT received the Participant’s Activation Coupon, along with the requisite, $99 per person Deposits and non-refundable $75 Activation Fee (SEE: EXHIBIT "B").
3. On November 24, 2014 FTT provided the Participant with the Vacation Reservation Packet, via USPS.
4. On January 23, 2015 FTT received a refund request letter from the participant. The participant was issued and mailed a Travel Credit on January 29, 2015. (SEE: EXHIBIT “C”“Deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied in the form of a travel credit,” (SEE: EXHIBIT "C")
5. On February 20, 2015 FTT received this instant complaint, sans any contact from Participant.
Our company does not require any additional processing fees for every letter we generate. The non-refundable processing fee of $75 paid by the participant is to get them up and running in our system. Participant knew that the promotion was for “an inside entry-level cabin.” It is in the Terms and Conditions that were signed by Participant. (SEE: EXHIBIT “A” (a) #2.) The participant knows there are costs associated with the cruises, and said costs are the responsibility of the traveler. (SEE: EXHIBIT “A” (a) #1 & #4.) Participant knew that he was responsible for stated charges/costs, as he placed his signature where it states: “*By signing this form, traveler represents that they have read, understand and agree to be bound by the above terms andconditions.” (SEE: EXHIBIT “B”).
Participant states that certain cruise ports were not listed on the Cruise Choice Selection Form. It does not mean that they are not available. The participant did not even try to book a cruise with our agency. (SEE: EXHIBIT “A” (a) #4.)
In closing, it is our constant endeavor, as a premium promotional incentive company, to always provide top-notch promotional incentive offers and customer service.
