Review: I purchased an Emerson television on March 16, 2013. It was manufactured January 2013. I purchased this television to put in my spare bedroom for my nieces and nephews when they visit. I have also watched the television on weekends myself. I do not view it everyday, and I explained this to the Emerson people when I spoke with them at 1-866-308-8819. The TV could very well have gone out before the one-year warranty. The responsible party is: FUNAI CORPORATION, Inc. Address:19900Van Ness Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501, but the trade name is Emerson. They are telling me that the nearest authorized service center in my area is: House of Rentals, 1834 Monroe St. Jamestown, NY 14701 phone 716-665-3090. I live in Mississippi. I have corresponded with FUNAI by sending them my receipts and information ([email protected] reference #1213861. I really have not spoken with the complaints person. I keep being told that she will call or correspond with me in 24 to 48 hours. I am still waiting. I have corresponded through email to [email protected] Since this problem occurred, I have gone to search complaints on the LC320EM2 A 32" LCD color TV. I totally wish that I had done this to begin with because I have had the same problem these other people have had. The TV would not come on. I have never had a TV with such a short life-span.Desired Settlement: I bought the television in good faith. I paid $228.00 for the television. I feel like it was a defective-lemon. After reading the reviews of so many other people, I am convinced that the TV is a low-quality product made with a short life-span. I would truly appreciate your help. I do not have the money to replace it. I am afraid to try to have it repaired after reading the reviews. I certainly do not want to own another Emerson.
