I submitted an application for a business loan to Funding Circle on 11/19/Funding Circle sent out a request for business tax returns per an approval they presentedI called on 11/22/to discuss becoming a broker with Funding Circle and the representative on the phone told me that it would take one day to get an approval as a brokerI also mentioned that I had submitted a file for a client before knowing I could become a brokerHe said, no problem, just resubmit the file after you get approved as a broker with usI explained that I did not want the client getting hit with a second credit inquiry as it was not necessaryHe replied that we could simply submit the file under my company and me as a broker without doing a second credit pull or submissionI said that would be fine and submitted my paperwork immediately for broker approvalToday, 11/23/2016, I called to follow up on the broker approval and was told by Chris, who answered the phone, that the application would not be approved or looked at until Monday, because of the Thanksgiving holidayI replied that we wanted to submit the requested documents for the client because we wanted to get him the approval as soon as possible as the client needed the funds to purchase inventory for the upcoming month of DecemberChris replied that I would not get credit for that client submission as a broker when I was approved, unless I resubmitted the applicationI told Chris that this is not what I had been told by the representative the day before when I inquired about thisChris said, "Nobody would have told you that." I replied that in fact I had been and that it was rude for him to accuse me of lying about the representation which had been madeHis response was, "Well, have a good Thanksgiving" and he hung up the phoneI called him back and asked to speak to his manager, to which he refusedI told him that I would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and he replied, "Go ahead." I have been in financial services for almost twenty years and this was the most unprofessional company I have dealt with to dateI would never recommend that ANYONE deal with these liars
