I bought this trip at a charity auction...They will not return my phone calls. Not only have I paid for the trip at the auction ,but also upgraded the flight and length of stay. Returned the signed form for the trip. The form was fine. After research I found the airline tickets were totally different than what I had signed for. We live in Oklahoma and this flight left us stranded in Chicago. Calling and leaving messages does no good. This trip was supposed to be for our 40th wedding anniversary. Our children are meeting us there if we make it. Huge disappointment in this company.

Please pardon this delayed reply to your inquiry. I just received it today. Unfortunately, Ms. was caught in what can only be described as a "perfect storm" of unforeseen difficulties. Not only did we have computer problems affecting our telephones and email, but during the time her trip was to be confirmed, our office was hit with a severe epidemic of the flu which decimated our staff. There were days when we were running with 30% of our employees. In addition to that, Ms.' trip was originally assigned to an independent contractor travel agent who has since been terminated for what can best be described as horrible dereliction of duty and "financial irregularities." None of these financial irregularities victimized Mr. and Mrs., only our organization.
Since we became aware of the difficulties, we have completely rebooked her flights to ensure they terminate at her desired home airport of Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City, at our expense. In addition, a senior travel manager spoke with her husband today and he was pleased with the action we have taken. Although we did not book the flights for the rest of her family, we have also taken steps to ensure that her family's flights were booked exactly as specified. In addition, we are also sending them, both Mr. and Mrs. and their entire family who will be traveling with them, our emergency contact information in case they have any unanticipated difficulties during the trip. Although we have confirmed that all the reservations are in place as scheduled, even the ones we did not make, things can always come up on a trip, such as a medical emergency, that can be very difficult to deal with when a traveler is overseas. By ensuring the entire family has our emergency contact information, we will be able to assist them in case of any difficulties.
In addition, I will be personally contacting Mr. and Mrs. tomorrow to offer my personal apologies because, although we too were the victims of the subcontractors significant malfeasance, Mr. and Mrs. should not have had to endure it. Though they did not have any financial loss, I will also be sending them an American Express gift card that I hope will help compensate for the anxiety the subcontractor's actions caused.
