Fundroad LLC is business run by and out of the home of Rodrigo S*** for the purpose of collecting money on investment properties that Rodrigo owns around Austin I recently lived in one of these homes where I paid a very large deposit upon moving in and was promised that it would be returned to me upon leaving after a year minus deductions for things outside of wear and tear
We moved out and received a check for the deposit about months after we had left, after calling him and wondering why we never got a check at the address we had asked him to send it toHe then sent an itemized bill with MANY deductions that were nearly all fabricated and false After contacting him about the erroneous charges, he refused to explain or give proof of the things he claims had issues For example: when we moved in, the fan in the bedroom did not work I mentioned it to him on walk-through and he said that we just needed to put in a work order and it would get fixed My wife and I, trying not to cause troubles, decided we didn't need the fan since we could just use the air conditioner and didn't open a work orderUpon moving out, he charged us for a new fan as well as an installation feeOn a side note, the fan that was in the room was great, it just needed to be mounted to the ceiling better and stabilized When asking Rodrigo for a receipt to show that he actually purchased the fan and paid someome to install it, he refused and said that he isn't giving me anything and if we go to court that he will charge me for a bunch of other things on top of what he has already charged
This person is EXTREMELY dishonest and should have his business license revoked as well as pay fines and give back funds to those he has cheated along the wayI plan to take further action to get a rightful fair amount back
