Review: My boss' grandfather passed away on a Friday and my company wanted to send flowers to the Wake on Monday. I found the website http://www.funeralfinder.com/ and selected my desired flower arrangement online and paid via corporate credit card. Funeral Finder then arranges the flowers to be fulfilled through a local florist. The following day, my other boss received confirmation that let us know which florist would be fulfilling the order. The following Thursday my boss came back to work. It turns out she never received the flowers. I called the florist from the confirmation and the woman who answered the phone was very confused and hard to understand. I called Funeral Finders and they said they would look into it. I then received another call back from the florist. I still couldn't understand what she was saying, but she said something along the lines of they don't take Internet or e-mail orders. Here began my e-mail exchange with [redacted] of Funeral Finders. It turns out that apparently this florist changed their e-mail address and never received our order. We were very upset. At this point, my boss' family and parents didn't get to see the flowers and now they were over a week late. We still wanted to send the flowers (now to her home), but asked for a full refund. [redacted] refused. I asked him to please call me discuss. He never called. He would only answer to e-mail. He said they could only refund us OR send the flowers, but not both. Finally, he said he would offer at 20% discount. We refused. He messed up. He should have called the florist to confirm the order and not relied solely on e-mail. If I hadn't asked my boss if she received the flowers then we would have been charged the full amount $84.98 and no flowers would have ever have been delivered. This is horrible customer service. We ended up getting the refund, but now flowers and had to send a gift from somewhere else. They lost the business of our entire company and I am dismayed about how [redacted] handled our issues.Desired Settlement: I would like Funeral Finder to highly consider changing their policy. If they miss a delivery and it is THEIR fault, then they should give the customer a full refund and still make the late delivery.
