Attached you will find a copy of the report filed on 7/by the shift leader pertaining to the incident in question as well as the clearly marked signage on the game in questionWe happily take the time to explain game play and fully understand the importance of customer service as without
customers, it's hard to be successfulWhen our staff is confronted with hostility, we will ask the hostile party them to leaveEspecially when threatened with a lawsuitThe issue we run into is many people abuse the "service animal" lawsWe know that companion or emotional support animals are clearly not covered under these lawsNor are service animals "in training"This individual was never asked what her disability wasSimply what the service was her puppy providedI will not offer a refund in this case. ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com***

In response to the complaint from this guest to our facility, This was my initial response. The manager on duty has forwarded me the information on your card and we are going to investigate it as soon as possible. He did not edit your card but wanted to make sure that we had the correct amount on your card and the number so we can put the correct amount of tickets earned. From the report a game that has a top payout of 100 tickets per play had put 5000+ tickets on your card in one play. Which is unfortunately a large error from the game. Our current policy is that a game malfunction voids all the ticket value from that winning. I will further investigate and contact you if we feel this was not an error. We hope that you continue to visit us and enjoy our facility.Thank you[redacted]We did check the game and had to place it out of order however with the over payout above the machines top limit we will not authorize the redemption of the tickets from that date.  As the card was being investigated for an error we have suspended the account for further use.   As the payout was incorrect from the payment of the game we will not authorize the amount of tickets put on their card from a malfunction. We will be glad to honor any ticket winning from all other plays while this guest was here, and add the additional play value of the game that malfunctioned,  This would be placed on a new card and could be mailed to this guest. I would assume if the same situation would happen if a bank has a system error that said your balance was over 800% higher than it should be and you would demand the balance from your bank, after they fixed the error.Thank you,[redacted]

Review: During a visit to Funland, my son and I played various games, collecting tickets towards redeeming a prize. Tickets are loaded electronically onto a card by the games as they are played. My son informed me that he had enough tickets to get the prize that he wanted. I checked the balance on his card which scanned at 10,998. The cashier scanned the card at the same amount, and we asked for the prize that we wanted. She stated that high ticket items had to be approved by the manager. Which I took no issue with having already verified the amount. The manager scanned the card at the same value, then proceeded to tell us that he could not honor that amount due to an alleged malfunction with one of his machine's award systems. He initially refused to return the card to me, but I demanded it back. He provided me with the general managers number and proceeded to type undisclosed information into the computer after scanning the card. My son was not allowed to collect his prize. The general manager refused to honor the value of the card. I have spent a lot of money at this establishment including hosting a recent birthday party there. A malfunction in their machine is not the customer's obligation. I would like to be compensated the full ticket value on our card and be awarded the prize of my son's choosing up to that value. Customer service should be a top priority which I feel that it is not. I have evidence in writing of the managers unsatisfactory response. And I also feel that he made dishonest modifications after scanning my card.Desired Settlement: Store credit of the full ticket value of 10,998 tickets.
