Thank you for allowing us to respond….Let me do my best at answering and commenting on the Customers Statement as described below:
Our service department did take a call for requested service from the ***We had the *** bring the Rpod back leapfrogging many other customers
RV’s already in lineWe felt it was important enough to do so factoring in being a new purchase and the heightened concern the *** had over the list of repairs needed We received the trailer and a list of repair needs and concernsThe process of getting the trailer dispatched to a technician and diagnosis of those items take some time to determine which items need ordering and which need adjustment or a refit/adjustmentGiven the current workload it could take weeks to get an RV in rotation for repairs
The *** did hand us a list with items on itWe worked through those items and addressed them as neededIt is unfortunate that they and the bank lender has put us on a “do not Buy list” as Funtime RV did not manufacture the trailer There was an email from the customer that stated they were okay with taking some extra time to insure a complete repairWe did our best to address each and every item
The shower skylight issue we would have to look at it againPossibly there is something on the inner skylight plasticFuntime RV ordered and replaced an outer plastic skylight dome and resealed thatIt is possible that something was overlooked inside at the inner plasticBut the original complaint was “there was a crack in the skylight” we found a crack from a screw being too tight on the roof, ordered one then replaced and resealed it
The moisture inside the skylight will have to be looked atIf there was moisture in the skylight while performing the above work it would have been addressedMoisture in the skylight as far as a request to look into this item was not typed up on the original request for work when dropped offThe *** signed the list of items when our employee and The customer walked through the trailer for inspection
The request for the Bluetooth function with main radio and remote in rear garage is a manufacturing issue not a Funtime issueWe have already replaced the main radio to allow the use of BluetoothUnfortunately that new main radio is not compatible with the garage remoteThe original radio that is compatible with the garage remote is not Bluetooth compatibleThis is all the manufacturer can provide for us to installThe manufacturer is responsible for what is typed onto the build sheetsFuntime contacted the manufacturer regarding this luxury package installUnfortunately in real life the floorplan will Bluetooth with remote
The rear garage seal tear/torn was not seen when worked onWhat was addressed was a complaint about the seal sticking to the lidFuntime cleaned the seal and applied a conditioner to the seal to leave it with a anti-static propertyIf it was torn at that time it was an oversightThis can be easily solved as we stock new sealsIt would have been easily replaced had it been found
There was a request for caulking and splitting all around trailerWe found and cleaned and resealed rear areas, corner moldings front to rear and sidewall attachmentsIf the *** state the licplate light was not sealed, we could have missed that itemThis can also can be addressedWe spent over hours performing sealant maintenanceThere could be remaining seals that need maintence but to state that everywhere there is cracked sealant cannot be realistic at this timeIf the sky light is leaking as describedWe need to determine if in fact it is a leak and not condensation
The rear taillights that has water in them can be replacedHad we seen those items we could have addressed those as wellWe stock new rear tail lights in the event of a failure or one that is full of waterRear tail light were not typed up on the original request for work when dropped off
We did not note or witness cracks on the roof as this was not indicated at the time of drop of requested workWhile we worked on the skylight there were no indications there was cracks in roofWe would have notified the factory of a situation like thisThis item may have to be evaluated for a proper determination
The *** brought this trailer in with line items to addresThis is a large number of issues to address yet not completely foreign to usWe actually found or additional repairs that needed to be made or adjusted while we were working on this listWe work hard at exceeding expectationsThe *** came in and in one weeks time stated they would be contacting Revdex.com and file a complaintSometimes the expectations are unobtainable yet we still strive for completionIf there are still remaining items to address we will happily do soYes there is a warranty period in which we can work within to do our best at solving the *** concerns

Yes the customer brought in the trailer on 11/6/14The trailer was exactly 1 year and 7 months  old when received.Funtime photo documented all customer concerns, uploaded pics to factory.Through our research and investigations the customer indicated that he had only 1700-2000 miles with only 6...

or 7 trips to the beach (not 1 or 2 trips)Our warranty gal has had a rough go health wise the last 8 months. In and out of work.Our work load has been extremely high and work space at an all time low.December 2014 and January 2015 Funtime RV has made major improvements and had made physical move and remodeled a building  in hopes of better serving our customers.We took for granted that the customer was not using the trailer any time soon and yes put if off a bit.2/17/15 communications started back up with the factory and some tear down and inspections took place.3/26/15 Funtime RV handled the transportation of the trailer to the factory (goodwill to the customer)5/1/15 Funtime went to pick up the trailer from the factory and declined the pick up citing that some of the repairs may not have been done and would rather leave it there.6/10/15 the factory returned the trailer to Funtime RV6/11/15 Funtime inspected the trailer and put in a call back to the factory. No response.6/12/15 Funtime spoke to [redacted] at the Factory and went through some inquiry and was told that the customer was in contact with the factory also. The factory encouraged and advised the customer to be performing some of their own routine maintenance regarding washing and sealing trims and roof areas as needed. The factory supplied some products for the customer to have and to use themselves. The factory has declined any further assistance in any additional repairs.6/12/15 Funtime RV has spoken to the RV owner and has committed to communicate daily until final agreed upon repairs are made. The customer indicated need to use it on 6/29All of the above data does not dismiss the lack of communication regarding the [redacted] needed repairs. For that we apologize for  the lack thereof. We have made additions to staffing administrative and technical in order to tighten up those lines of communication.
