Review: [redacted] I would like to informe you that I have just sent an email to the Revdex.com concerning my purchase made in your store the 15 th of August.I remind you that I came into your store in company of Mrs [redacted] of Oregon who will attest to my confirmations if demandes.I had found a jacquet on sale and tagged at +\-100$ et Mrs [redacted] read and confirmed this price which I found extremely reasonable. The sales lady was at our side at this moment and volont red to take the jack et to the cas hier while we finished visiting the store. Arriving at the cashier she just swiped my [redacted] card( no pin demande) and slipped the bill towards me , jacket and undetailed receipt drop end in the bag....not once did I see the amont debited !The next morning I dicovered that 1263,97$ had been debited!After contacting [redacted] to block this purchase, I r turned to your store to obtain a modification of the amount or To return the jacket and annul the purchase. I only obtained a dfinitive refusal on both!Desired Settlement: Above you can find the email sent to the Fur Traders avising them on the fact that I am asking for your help to solve this problem.I wish that this company would respect indicated on the ticket and confirmed by 2 persons. Mrs [redacted] who was with me will provide her testamony if necessary. This price is 164,95$ tax not included.Thank you for any help or suggestion

This is in response to a letter you sent us dated 8/29/14, in reference to a Customer name [redacted].

We are including a signed receipt and copy of tag for the Deerskin Jacket in question.

Customer signed and agreed to our policy and price on her charge card receipt at purchase at the counter. Customer also wrote her e-mail address on the back side of her receipt that she had signed.

Customer came in to our store and talked to me personally (...[redacted] of The Fur Traders) a couple days after the purchase and said she thought we overcharged her for a jacket that was suppose to be approximately $100.00. We do not have Leather or Fur Jackets for $100.00. I looked up her sale and she had bought a hand stitched Deerskin jacket for $1145.00 plus tax. I showed her the 'like jacket' that she had bought a hand with the tag attached to show her how much they are, and additionally pulled out the original tag that was attached to the jacket that she purchased to show her. There is no way one of a kind hand made Deerskin jacket would sell for $100.00...that is approximately the tax alone. After showing the customer everything on this transaction the only thing the customer said was "ok, I guess I have to keep the coat" and left the store. We verbally say the amount of purchase and explain our policy that is on EVERY transaction and receipt that the customer signs and hand them their receipt at the counter.

This customer has also tried to chargeback the sale through the credit card company and the customer has the jacket!

Perhaps this customer does not understand our currency, but that still does not explain trying to get her money back and keep the jacket also....

Our policies are on signage throughout our stores. We have been in business for over 40 years.

I will send several more e-mails to you to show ALL of the notices we post throughout all of our stores...front counter front door etc.

We have been in business for over 40 years, and follow the same policy which is also VERBALLY said to ALL customers at the counter and then they sign THEIR copy that insures they understand our policy and total price that they pay. Sometimes the customer may not notice the MANY signs we post throughout our stores, so we cover that issue again at the time of check out verbally and with a signature from the customer that they understand our policy.

Being in the garment and shoe industry, we do not have issues like this BECAUSE of the way we make sure our policies are known, signed, and understood by the customer. This works to prevent issues like this person is trying to negotiate prices.

This person is untruthful with her presentation of her complaint.

This customer has the products, and has tried to retrieve her money back from her charge card company. This is illegal.

I will follow these e-mails with a fax of written affidavit of what really happened at the time of check out from the salesperson who took care of this customer in our store.

The customer also bought other products with this transaction which is also not mentioned by the customer in her complaint, and requesting a FULL REFUND from her charge card company while she keeps all of the products she purchased with this receipt.

We have full recordings through our security camera systems of ALL transactions.

Perhaps this customer has buyer's remorse...

I suggest the Revdex.com reviews the customer's copy of her charge card receipt, and that will settle the whole issue.

I am rejecting this response because:

1. I retournée to the Fur Traders the morning following this purchase with the jack in question. I was naïvely confident in the well known quality of American customer service and sûre of the fact that Visa USA had confirmed the possiblity of an easysale cancel by the merchant.
