At this time, I have been contacted directly by Furnished Habitat Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: the...

complaint has almost been totally resolved I would just like to speak with [redacted] again, the contact from furnished Habitat. I just cannot figure out a way to get in touch with him. He gave me a number but when I called the company they could not get me to him. If you could just have them call me we can have this totally resolved.

Very positive experience renting with Furnsihed habitat. Apartment was like the photos. Been living in one of their apartments for last year and half and renewed my lease. Great office staff !
Thanks Furnsihed habitat for helping me find a place to stay in NYC. Apartment is fantastic. Really enjoy the private outdoor space and king size bed !

Nothing fancy here, but best bang for your buck in the city. Got a nice sunny 1000 sq ft 3 bed 2 FULL bath in East Harlem furnished for 3250 and thats one of the hottest neighborhoods in NYC now (who knew?) My place was close to the East Harlem mall, some great restaurants the park and transportation...laundry was right sround the corner and 15 munutes from midtown by uber...Takes them a little while to get stuff fixed ((( but be patient...They will get to you. I give it 5 stars for the price and their maintenance and office staff. They were very nice and really helped resolve the issue I had with my rental.

Had a really good experience with Furnished Habitat, they were very helpful and provided any information I needed. I rented the apartment 4 months and had no issues at all, WIFI worked perfectly. The apartment was clean! Definitely would rent with them again

I had a great stay with FH! Staff was really helpful providing instructions/suggestions to me and my family who had never been in the city. The apartment we stayed at had everything we needed to be comfortable. Will definitely use them again in the future.

It was our first experience in this amazing city and being here for an internship in a new place can be overwhelming! However we highly recommend furnished habitat as they were literally the ones that helped us get settled, excellent customer service, the replies were fast, they showed use the apartment before renting, and I can tell you it exceeded our expectations! it was a studio in Midtown, close to everything and the price was great. We only had. a small request to come check a window which was not closing properly and they sent maintenance in a matter of 2 hours, they were great, if you are looking to stay in the city for a while, they are your go to company.

I had a great time using Furnished Habitat. I rented an apartment for 2 months while my wife and I were remodeling our apartment. They were very helpful and were there with me every step of the way. They had an apartment in the Upper East Side near my apartment which was a huge plus. The apartment was very comfortable and we felt right at home. My wife loved the modern decor in the apartment. The apartment had everything we needed...an iron, sheets, blowdryer, pots etc. One time we had an issue in the apartment, maintenance came right away and fixed the issue. Would recommend to family and friends.

Review: My daughter rented an apartment off of this organization for the summer. She was doing a summer internship in NY city. It all started upon there arrival, the apartment was not ready on the date of arrival, they had to wait a day and had difficulty getting the keys to get in the apt. They were then moved in and several weeks later lost power in the back bedroom of the apt (efficiency apt, only one bedroom). In trying to get the power back on the called the [redacted], several times, he said it was taken care of but it never was. They contacted the rental company, Furnished Habitat, not response. I truly thought they had gone out of business and this was a total scam. Left many messages for both, no response. I got involved I contact [redacted], when I got a hold of him said he would call back, did not. When I got really angry he gave me his bosses number, voice mail full. I called Furnished Habitat, could not get a response. This went on for two and a half week of no power and lights in their bedroom. Finally I got a hold of the Maintenance Man in the building, he explained he was not responsible for this apt. that Furnished Habitat was, he use to be but now that Furnished Habitat is the owner, he has nothing to do with it. I begged him to help the girls out, he went in told them what to buy and how to repair the fuse. They did that and finally got power after two and half weeks. It happened again but they knew what to do the second time, thank god. Then they had no cable and internet service, same thing happened but it never go resolved. [redacted], the [redacted] said someone would be out, know one ever came, they end up leaving without those services for a month. Lastly, I go up to NY to move my daughter out. Text and called the [redacted] about move out details no response. I finally got a hold of someone at Furnished Habitat, it was the first time in two in a half months I got someone on the phone. Spoke with a gentleman named [redacted] in [redacted] he pulled up all the information on the apt [redacted] that they had rented. He had all the information, lease, etc. He was so helpful, I told him about all the issues, he was so apologetic and was going to take money off for the cable and internet and would work on a refund for the power. He told me all that they needed to do for moving out. This conversation took place on Thursday, Aug *,2014. He stated the cleaning people were coming on Monday August **. I said that is great then the girls will be out by Aug *, first thing in the morning. We both agreed that this was perfect. On Friday morning, August * one of the Mothers got contacted that the girls need have there stuff out within 2 hours. I called Furnished Habitat literally, 20 times, could not get one person on the phone except the sales people in a different building, they could do nothing. They said they would try to get a message to someone that we were told we had until Saturday morning to move out. The girls went to work on Friday Aug to come home around 3:00pm to cleaners in the apt. The cleaner, one gentleman, had taken all of their clothing and accessories that were out all ready to go into their suitcases and threw them into the suitcases. Had taken everything else of there's and thrown it away. It was only two of the girls left, the 3rd was gone. they had most of their stuff totally out so it was not that much their. But in my daughters situation he put papers in the suitcase that had ink on them. Her perfume bottle had gotten broken, it caused a bunch clothing to get damaged in her suitcase because the ink ran all over the clothing.

I just understand how a company like this can be in business. How can you possibly have a company that you have tenants sign a lease but then you disappear. Landlords are not legally aloud to do this. Something needs to be done to this company they cannot operate like this.Desired Settlement: My full deposit back. In which my daughters portion is $533.33. Along with the internet and wireless service deduction and the two fuses and electric bill refund.

Then the damage in her suitcase, along with the bathroom things thrown away. That was a lot of money, perfume, Bond, $195.00, along with a silk skirt that was $250.00 totally damaged with the ink and

cannot be cleaned. So that was around $500.00 with bathroom products thrown away. In total $1033.33. just the deductions I have, they need to add internet, wireless and electric bill deductions.
