Review: On 12/**/2014 I visited the Furniture Center where I became interested in a Bar w/out the stools. My concern was the dimensions of the bar. I spoken to the representative by the name of [redacted] who assisted me through the process. I allowed him to know my concerns and the fact that I would return home to take proper dimension's and return back. I returned approximately 4:10p and I allowed [redacted] to know that I would like to purchase the Bar. Prior to leaving I did allow [redacted] to know that I will be financing he asked me with whom do I finance with I may be connected to them. I allowed him to know that it was "[redacted]" he stated that he does business with them also. It was perfect I was called to the desk to fill out the application process [redacted] asked for my I.D. and Debit Card in which I issued however I didn't have the information of my account number. I Immediately called my niece and had her search for me. In which I ended up calling [redacted] for the info at approximately 4:19p they provided me with the information and I relayed it to [redacted] within seconds I was approved the paperwork was drawn up for the purchase which totaled $1023.42 on the paper it stipulates to be paid by [redacted]. He asked me would I be putting down a payment I expressed no. Everything was finalized and he allowed me to know I will be receiving a call in regards to delivery. I left without knowing I did not retrieve my I.D. and Debit Card. I receive a call by [redacted] at 7:40p allowing me to know that I left my I.D. and Debit Card and that he closes at 8p and I can pick it up tomorrow. I allowed him to know that I will pick it up now and that I am on my way. I immediately look at my bank account and saw that there was $839.76 with drawn from my account unauthorized for a purchase that consist of $4500.00. As I enter the Furniture place I immediately asked about this transaction in which [redacted] told me it was a mistake and that the money will be refunded to me. My issue at this point is my card was used unauthorized which was not my fault and this is definitely a dis-service to me. The fact that I should of received my money on the spot and [redacted] making excuses as to it being an accident has no baring's on me. No matter what he has told me does not take a way that this matter wasn't properly taken care of to begin with. This transaction happen at 6:57p I didn't receive a call until 7:40p and when asked why [redacted] stated he wanted to finish dealing with his current customer who was spending $4500.00 of which my card was charged to. I feel the way this played out was very unprofessional and unacceptable. [redacted] did not offer any type of compensation nevertheless did I receive my money back on spot in which I feel is a dis-service to me because I have bills to pay and what am I to tell my Landlord? I have all documented paper work if needed.Desired Settlement: I'm uncertain if I will receive my refund because as I look at the paper work for the unauthorized transaction I see there's a approval code for the $839.76 that was taken out and as I look at the refund information I do not see a approval code in which I very leery about. I need my money back ASAP. As I called my bank I asked do they at least see a reversal for the $839.76 as of yet the answer is no but the debit came out for $839.76 which is on record.

Review: My problem is I paid for a brand new bedroom set in January 2014 and the bed frame is falling apart because it was not assembled correctly and there's a big chip on the side of it too. I cannot sleep on my bed correctly and this can cause back pain due to an incomplete bed frame for your mattress & box spring. Also, I received a split top draw on the dresser and sent the company pictures and emails and I got one call back that it would be fixed and nothing as been done and no calls returned and we are in February now!

Terrible customer service and I will never buy any furniture from them again and I would never recommend them to family or friends!Desired Settlement: I would like for someone to actually get back to me and provide a date to actually come and fix my furniture or provide a new bedroom set.

Review: I bought sofa love seat from Furniture City of Flatbush Inc. on January ** , they told me delivery will be there by end of January ,after not getting the item from Furniture City of Flatbush Inc. I try to call them the sales person told me some one will call me back by tomorrow , that's February [redacted], no one call me back try to call them first thy keep transferring me to voicemail finally after few times I got speak to [redacted] he told me item is back order from [redacted] and nothing thy can do about it I will have the furniture by end of February and I am out of luck and he would not refund my moneyDesired Settlement: refund my money

Review: My elderly mother went to the store on 11/**/2015 looking for furniture. She was coerced to choose a few pieces and was coerced to give them her credit card. She gave her credit card number under impression that she is only leaving a deposit, but instead was charged with the full amount of $5300. She returned the next day to cancel her order, but they threw her out of the store telling her they already ordered all the furniture and they will not cancel anything. They did not tell her anything about their no refund policy or the fact that they charge 30% for any cancelled product. They take advantage of elderly people and are scam artists. We had no furniture delivered and they refuse to return my mother's money.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $5300
