RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] . Please add your rejection comments below. While I do not think that the company knowingly lied in their representation of the item I bought, I am disappointed that they would not stand behind their (false) advertisement of the item and "do the right" thing by admitting their mistake, and therefore compensate me for the extra costs I incurred by believing their description of the item. research items as efficiently as possible and to be accurate with our descriptions and authenticationsResearch includes information from the consignor, information that is available on-line and our expertiseThe bed That Ms*** references was advertised as a certain manufacturer because the consignor informed us that it was made by that particular manufacturerThe bed was also on par with styling, quality construction and finish with what we have seen from this manufacturer in the pastAnd we were able to match the signature on the bed to a lead craftsman on the manufacturer’s websiteWith all of this information, we had no reason to further question the authenticity of the bedThere was no mal-intent on the part of Furniture Consignment Gallery to mislead or misrepresent the product in any wayTo the contrary, we had plenty of reason to believe that the bed was made by this manufacturer. Though our company did not intentionally mislead or misrepresent the product, we offered to refund her purchase even though our policy is that all sales are final and items are sold in “as is” conditionWe were clear that the transportation would be at her cost and she chose to return the bed in that manner We will not refund the shipping charges that Ms*** incurred as we would have gladly assisted with any additional due diligence prior to purchase to ensure her satisfaction with the product that she was buying. Customers must do their due diligence prior to purchase, not after the fact, when buying pre-owned goods We did the very best we could to provide a reasonable resolution to the situation by providing a full refund on her purchaseMs*** returned the bed and accepted the refund. Dear Revdex.com,I am responding to complaint number [redacted] from Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] outlined our terms very well in her complaint notification. She was aware of the terms of our contract prior to agreeing to use our services. She signed a contract with us where all of the terms...

that she mentioned in her complaint were clearly articulated. She made a free will choice to use our services to sell her bar stools. We sold her bar stools within 4 days and for the top selling price and she was paid within the terms of our agreement.  We are grateful to have had the opportunity to sell her bar stools for her and are thrilled that we found a buyer for items in such a short time period. We understand through her complaint with the Revdex.com that [redacted] is not pleased structure and terms of our contract. Her specific point of contention is with regard to the buyer’s premium which is common in our industry as is a check writing fee which is to help cover costs of the check writing, bookkeeping and reconciliation process. Our business has been operating with this formula for many years and has had thousands of happy sellers who have referred our business to their friends and family.
