Non-delivery of items and stained mattress delivered.On Monday November 11 2013 we purchased a foot board headboard mattress,dresser,chest of drawers,2 nightstands and a sofa table.We were told the only item they couldn't deliver was the headboard and foot board as they needed to be ordered and they would let us use a loaner frame.The headboard and were supposed to be 2 weeks.The delivery men came on Wednesday the 13 to deliver our items.They did not have either night stand,the chest of drawers nor the sofa table.When I called the store [redacted] told me he wasn't sure why the chest of drawers wasn't delivered it showed in stock.He asked if he could check the store display for damage and bring it of Friday if it was okay. I said I would rather just wait for the new one.After the delivery men left we noticed a nasty stain on the corner of the mattress. I immediately called [redacted] again to tell him. He said send him a picture and he would look at it the next day to see what he was going to do.The next day he said he could only replace the outside cover not the mattress as we requested.On Friday they delivered one night stand,the chest of drawers(off the showroom)and the sofa table.I called and was told they would be out Friday with a [redacted] rep and a furniture distributors rep. They did not come so I called the store to speak to a manager and was told she wouldn't be in until Monday. She gave me a number to a manger at the sister store in New Bern,N.C. named( [redacted] ?)I explained the situation to her.She looked up our purchase information. She said they could order a new mattress.She said she would talk to [redacted] and call me back. She called back about 10 minutes later and said [redacted] said they would not replace the mattress.We paid $1500.00 for a already stained mattress.(we paid 129.00 for a mattress to prevent stains.)He told her my husband had agreed to only replacing the cover. We were told that was the only option available by [redacted].Yesterday was Friday no call from Furniture Distributors about the mattress. The new Bern manager also said the headboard foot board and night stand would not be in until about December 2.Another Friday has passed with us still having a stained mattress.We feel [redacted] is trying to baffle us with play on words and my husband and I against each other.Desired SettlementI would like all the things we ordered and them to replace the mattress. Or them to come get everything give us or money back and we can go to another store to purchase our items.

My husband and I purchased a sofa and chair. It was leather and supposed to be very good furniture.When we purchased furniture we also purchased an extended warranty at the insistence of the sales rep. The leather on one side of the sofa started peeling down the middle of the seat. We have been told by the insurance rep.that isn't covered.,but she said she would see what she could do. She called back and said it couldn't be repaired because they no longer made the color to match ours??? We told her we wanted our money back for warranty. She said she would get back to us about that. We paid almost 200.00 for this warranty that was supposed to cover anything and we are both disabled and can't just go out and purchase another sofa.Desired SettlementI want them to correspond with this company and help us get some solution.Business Response We are sincerely sorry that your furniture has not lived up to your expectations. Our records indicate the furniture was purchased in October 2012. We reviewed with the manufacturer the situation and they agreed to offer the customer a 25% credit towards their merchandise purchase amount.On the protection plan, we will gladly credit this amount back to the customer. We have a guarantee if you do not use the plan at the end of 5 years, we will credit you back 100%. I have not heard anything from anyone concerning my case and I don't want it closed until I do. I want my money refunded for that warranty. It's going to cost me another 2000.00 to get it recovered. I think this was very poor business.

Complaint[redacted] told me the damaged ottoman I received would be replaced with a new one. 4 wks later,the same damaged ottoman was delivered to my houseI purchased $3,600 worth of leather living room furniture, and on November 6th, it was delivered...nevermind the fact that it was not delivered during the timeframe they gave me, which was 12-4, but delivered at 8:00 p.m. instead...I guess my time doesn't matter. I digress back to the initial complaint of the damaged leather ottoman I received. Upon realizing the ottoman was damaged, I emailed a [redacted] "Customer Service Rep"...the worst ever. [redacted] informed me that the ottoman would be re-upholstered not replaced with a new one. I requested to speak to the Manager and my conversations proceeded to be with [redacted] in the Havelock location. Ms. [redacted] told me that the damaged ottoman would need to be returned to the store for a new ottoman to be ordered...ya know, since they are custom made. Four (4) weeks later almost to the day, I called [redacted] the sales rep that sold me the furniture initially and he followed up with Ms. [redacted] and what do you know, the ottoman is in and can be scheduled for delivery. So, on Wed, November 11th I sat at home from 12-4 waiting for my NEW leather ottoman to be delivered. I continued to wait until 4:45 p.m. and called the Havelock store and spoke with [redacted] in delivery and he said that the delivery guys would be at my house soon. And by soon, I mean 5:15 p.m. Again, I guess my time is not valuable. Be that as it may, I finally have my ottoman and can enjoy it with the rest of my furniture purchase. Well that was short lived because upon inspection, I notice that this is the very SAME ottoman that was delivered to me damaged back in November. I am literally at a loss for words when it comes to this situation. The customer service at Furniture Distributors is sub-par at best and the sales associates will tell you anything to make a sale and have no regard to the customers they serve. As of tonight, which is Wed, November 11th, I placed yet another call to the Havelock store and to [redacted] the sales rep. I really am hoping this situation can be resolved without me being inconvenienced any further, but I doubt it.Desired SettlementI would like for Furniture Distributors to pick up ALL $3,600 of this furniture and have my account balance reflect $-0-, so I may go elsewhere to purchase "quality" furniture with a company who values continued customer service once I walk out of the store. Rec'd ordered leather sectional damaged;a week or so later sent boy out who tk photos; seems we getting delays so now if I return they say chg us 20%I ordered an [redacted] Furniture leather sectional total cost with tax, ship fee & leather war $3917.69 (sectional $3199.99;warr 349.99). Day of wife inspected saw defect/damage on base of chaise & on cushion she told delivery man & called store to complain day of del. & day after. [redacted] was contacted by wife as we were instructed. Wife wanted it fixed so they sent boy out to tk photos. Currently, status is we are waiting on [redacted] salesman to look at too. They claim we have had it too long so there is 20 percent restock fee should they not be able to replace to match chaise leather to other 2 pcs of sectional leather. Why should I pay 20 percent restock when they were notified as soon as say defects/damages. Also, my wife contacted [redacted] again & sent photos of when she wiped dust off chaise area on a couple white streaks on the back cushion of chaise and seat cushion. [redacted] keeps telling my wife their [redacted] Furniture rep coming out. More delay. I would like replacement or full refund at this point.Desired SettlementMy wife liked the sectional but it seems to me Furniture Distributors are delaying getting replacement issues resolved and just replacing the chaise or chaise cushion as [redacted] told my wife will not be satisfactory to me because it will not match the other two leather sections. So at this point I want them to come pick it up and want a full refund. [redacted] told my wife there would be a 20 percent restock fee because we have had it over a week but we have had it over a week because of them. We contacted them right away with defects.
