Furniture Medic by Quality Matters

These guys are top notch! I highly recommend them. Scheduling the appointment was easy, and the scheduler answered all of my questions with friendliness and patience. I had a ring on my coffee table from a nail polish remover bottle. The gentleman who did the work, Chet, arrived on time, was fast and efficient, and provided good quality work. Unless you are up close and know where to look you, it looks like it never even happened. He was able to match up the finish perfectly! He was also very friendly, focused on the job, had all tools and hardware needed on hand, cleaned up after the work was done, and exceeded all expectations. He also looked at another issue for the table while he was there and provided a reasonable fix for that as well. He demonstrated a lot of wood working knowledge and expertise. He also verified all screws were tight in the area he worked on before finishing. I was impressed and will definitely call Furniture Medic for all future furniture repairs.

I cannot say enough great things about Chet with Furniture Medic. He arrived on time, was thorough in his walk through of the job, and worked expeditiously and meticulously. Chet was a pleasure to speak with answering all of my questions. He made sure to be fully aware of what I was expecting out of the job (paint touchups in a kitchen reno), and when he finished, we carefully walked through everything again. I was completely delighted with the results of the job. He addressed all of the paint issues with both my new cabinets and molding. It looks amazing! Chet, Margaret, and Laura did an amazing job on our water damaged cabinetry. When the leak happened, the demo team wasn't as careful as they should have been. Some cabinets suffered damage, but Chet was able to repair them all. The finish is just beautiful, and I feel like I have a brand new kitchen. I just love how they turned out. Additionally, Chet, Margaret and Laura were just plain nice to work with. They were professional, careful with the finished pieces, and communicated with us along the way. I would highly recommend them for any furniture project.

The knowledge and professionalism Chet Novak and his team bring to the table are unparalleled. Chet has helped me with several projects, the most recent being the restoration of several pieces of 1800's-era family heirloom furniture pieces. These are pieces I want to pass down to my children, and the reconstruction work Chet did has made them sturdy and sound and able to stand the test of time. Chet doesn't do a quick fix, but takes the time to find out what needs to be done, and then is meticulous about making the repair. He is not only prompt and conscientious, but is a true craftsman and skilled woodworker. I would not dream of going anywhere else for a repair.

After a horrific move in which many pieces of my furniture (none of which was older than 2 1/2 years old) were severely damaged, I had no hope of any of the pieces looking anywhere near what they had looked before the damage. But then Furniture Medic took hold of them. When they were finished with them, you were never know that anything had happened to the pieces. They almost looked better than new!! I would definitely recommend Furniture Medic to anyone who needs furniture fixed or just spruced up. They are the best!!!!

I wish I could give Furniture Medic 10 stars! The job I needed help with required persistence, research, and some travel. Chet and Margaret at Furniture Medic were incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. Chet's professionalism and attention to detail went above and beyond the call of duty. He did an amazing job with a difficult and unusual repair. I will definitely call them again for help!
