With regards to the [redacted], the reason the claim was turned down is because there were multiple stains from different products. This plan is an accident plan which handles single incidents. We do not do full item cleanings, just individual stains. Each stain must be called in within...
5 days. The product we spray on the sofa is designed to keep stains from setting, but must be treated within a short period of time. When there is an accumulation of stains over a period of time, it is looked at as normal wear and tear which is not covered by the plan. This is noted within the terms and conditions of the plan.
We have always asked for photos of any stain or damage. It helps us know what treatments need to be done and/or if there are types of damage that aren’t covered by the plan.
We do apologize that the [redacted] did not have a clear understanding of the policy. Therefore we can refund what they paid for the plan which is $79.95.
