Good Morning, I went on to your BB website to read your comments but there was nowhere on the site where I could respond The furniture finally sent out their own Furniture repair guy and was able to fix the recliner by replacing the support beam underneath and the springs that popped out So far so goodNot sure how long this will last but I am okay with the results and happy they finally came up with some sort of resolution other than blowing me off and ignoring me The Warranty company was also able to refund me the warranty cost of $since the store sold me a warranty that basically covered nothing but stains and ripsI was sold the warranty of pretense that it would cover breakage and defects Thank you for following up Sincerely, [redacted] ###-###-####

So far so good. Not sure how long this will last but I am okay with the results and happy they finally came up with some sort of resolution other than blowing me off and ignoring me.
The Warranty company was also able to refund me the warranty cost of $69 since the store sold me a warranty that basically covered nothing but stains and rips. I was sold the warranty of false pretense that it would cover breakage and defects.

Review: On June 29, 2014 I went to this store to purchase a box spring & mattress. I found a set that I liked and asked if the salesperson if it was in stock. The salesperson told me it was in stock and I paid. I was told to pull my truck up to the dock door and the box spring and mattress would be loaded into my truck. At the dock I was told the mattress I wanted was not available and that I could choose from 2 other mattresses. I did not like either of the other matresses and requested a refund. She said there were not refunds and the owner of the company, Charles to date has not returned my call. This is what I believe is bait & switch and is not legal. I paid for a certain item & that is what I want. They said they would get more in Wed and when I went there Wed, they once again tried to give me another mattress. Also the mattress I picked out had a 15 year warranty which was written on corner of the bed. All the other mattresses they offered did not have warranty and tags were cut off. Conveniently, the mattress I picked out was no longer on the floor when I went there on Wed. I ended up taking another mattress and box spring because I did not have one and they refused to give me my money back & I did not have money to get another mattress.Desired Settlement: Want my money back & once it is refunded I will return the inferior items they gave me.

Review: on 3/18/13 I purchased a couch and chair from furniture surplus located at [redacted] for 569$

I was told that the color (mocha) was not available immediately but is available and in order to purchase it I had to pay the full amount up front.

I paid 569$ with my [redacted] debit card. with receipt saying 2-3 weeks.

it is now 5 weeks and I have no furniture, I have made several attempts to contact the store for an update and every time I talk to an employee its the same thing. we have no idea when it will be in. when I spoke to manager ari. he said there isnt even a timetable on when the furniture will be in.

I requested my money back and was told that theres no refunds

I am a police officer for the city of [redacted] and would like to resolve this matter with my money back without getting legally involved.

Review: Awful. Awful. Awful.

Purchased a complete bedroom set from this company's location on [redacted] from a salesman named [redacted]. Bedroom Set was by [redacted] furniture & was to encompass bed, mattress, 2 night stands a horizontal dresser w/ mirror and a vertical 5 drawer dresser. Problem # 1 was that the driver's did NOT expect to be setting up our furniture which was a service we paid $69 for and they asked to see our purchase receipt for proof. So they spent roughly the next 30-45 minutes setting the furniture & promptly left our bedroom an absolute disaster with boxes and fragments of Styrofoam every where. It took us a good hour just to clear out all of the boxes out of our bedroom and clean up the disaster they left behind for us. That was a completely wasted $69 we spent given the amount of work WE had to put in after the fact anyway. THEN, we noticed that the vertical dresser was not delivered at all. Luckily the delivery guys we still in our parking lot, so we ran down there to catch them, thinking they just forgot to bring up that piece. They did not even have it on their manifest of what should be delivered and we'd need to call the store the next day, which I did. When I called, I was informed that the vertical dresser that came with the full bedroom set was damaged in transit to [redacted] and a new one had already been ordered. This was all fine and dandy, however NO ONE bothered to call and tell us this. I had to call and find out on my own. I was told on a Thursday that the new dresser was coming in on the delivery the following Wednesday and I would be called to schedule the re-delivery. This call happened the following Saturday, 3 days after the date I was told the product would be received at [redacted]. During THIS phone call, I was told that the re-delivery could happen the following Thursday (this past Thursday 3/13) The re-delivery happened in the early afternoon hours which we were thankful for, especially given the initial large delivery did not arrive to begin until after 7 PM. When I got home from work this past Thursday to see the dresser that was delivered which would complete our bedroom set, low and behold, it is by a completely different manufacturer than the rest of our bedroom set. The ENTIRE set was to have been from [redacted] Furniture and the dresser is a much darker wood than the rest of our set.

We are BEYOND frustrated with this experience.Desired Settlement: At an absolute minimum I would like to be refunded for the dresser and the cost of the delivery set up charge given the hour of work that we have to put in ourselves AFTER the drivers left to clean up the absolute disaster that was left in our bedroom.

Review: I purchased a recliner in May 2014. I also purchased a warranty from them (5 year) was told it covered structural damage, defects and if it broke.

In September the recliner frame broke in half. The warranty company will not cover it because the warranty they sold me only covers rips and stains or mechanism default (meaning if the recliner was a power model.) I even went as far as calling the manufacturer in which the store told me was out of business. Basically my recliner is only a few months old in which was purchased for $371 +. The frame damage is covered under Manufacturer Warranty because it is under a year old in which the Furniture Store holds that warranty. Even the owners son told me Mr. Bobby H[redacted] that I would receive a phone call today 9/22 with a resolution. Well I just called the store he is off on Mondays. He also went as far as to say he is suing the warranty company because of ME. I have spoken with every manager/ assistant manager and warehouse manager at this location and now including the owners' son and NOT ONE of them has resolved my problem or has tried to. They keep blaming the warranty company. However, THEY are responsible for this defective piece of furniture they sold me. They will NOT return my money and will not OFFER me a replacement. They basically stole my money, sold me a warranty under false pretense. I am grateful after speaking with the warranty company [redacted] that they are willing to refund me the warranty cost which was $69. However I am out over $300 with this recliner purchase and have been treated and spoken to so poorly by this company, I am doing everything I can to expose them and let as many people know to never buy anything from this company EVER. I don't want this to happen to someone else.Desired Settlement: At this time I would Prefer a Refund for the purchase amount of the recliner in the amount of $379. I would have settled for a replacement recliner but the customer service and the lies I have been told by this company I prefer not to have ANYTHING to do with this furniture store. Also who's to say the next recliner I get (if they did replace it) would not be damaged or break also. I deserve my money back!

Review: On May 16th I made the last payment on a bar I purchased from this store. I still to date have not received this bar. I went into the location in July to pick out another item as the bar would no longer fit into my apt and I was informed it is against company policy to give refunds. I picked out an entertainment center one month ago. I have not heard from anyone in this store regarding my purchase. I am now no longer uninterested in receiving any items from this location. The total price paid was 219.00. I would like a full refund of the money spent since I have not received the items.Desired Settlement: The full amount spent was 219.00. I would like a full refund.
