model. On 4/2 I pick up my orders, when I return I have a message that the customer wants a refund. I have the furniture that the customer special ordered, I call the customer to schedule a delivery, she states she wants a refund that she doesn't need the furniture, I tell the customer, I do not do refunds, which is clearly stated on her receipt, I offer her an in store credit or her furniture that she ordered, she says no, she will handle it her way. So I have her furniture when she is ready I will bring it out to her, if not she is entitled to an in store credit for the special order minus restocking fee. I do the best I can to do good customer service, my policy is clearly posted in the store and on the receipt. Each time she has called she refuses the furniture or the policy that I hold in place, no refunds on special orders, in store credit only. I will stand by this policy. Miss [redacted] can have her furniture that she special ordered, or she can have an in store credit towards something else, if she doesn't need the furniture that she special ordered. 1 day turn around on a special order is pretty quick. Customers complaint as to her not receiving her merchandise is ridiculous , her merchandise is here and all she needs to do is let me know where we need to deliver it to.

Company's response below:I am writing this in response to a complaint filed by [redacted]. After initial contact from the customer and after receiving the pictures from them, I submitted all the received information to the manufacturers representative who in turn submitted it to the...

manufacturer. After I received a reply from the mfg, I contacted the consumer as to the response, the product purchased 12/03/14 was covered by a (1) year warranty and was no longer warranted and the product was discontinued by the mfg, as a result no parts where available. I offered as a jesture of good will a 15% discount towards the purchase of a new product. The customer wanted to meet with me and the mfg representative, I indicated  that I would meet with them, but the representative is not located in the area and would not attend. I did meet with Mr./Mrs [redacted]. I examined the chair and did see the fabric issue was as in the picture I received and forwarded to the mfg. I indicated I would look into other options, I received an email on the second day, stating they decided to pursue a more equitable solution and requested information as to our companies [redacted] and the mfg representative.I provided the requested information and additionally forwarded all the correspondences to the respective parties. The [redacted] of [redacted] responded to me and looked into the matter, he indicated in the end that, parts are unavailable as the product is discontinued and that it was in fact out of warranty. In the complaint the consumer indicated that the same product is available on the mfg website, which is incorrect. I have attempted to reach the consumer by phone since to offer a 25% refund in an attempt to resolve this matter and have not received a replay.Thank you,[redacted]FWDG [redacted]
