My daughter & I went into Furry Babies tonight & found most that most of the dogs had little to no water in their pensMost disturbingly were the two larger dogs(Bernese Mountain & Labradoodle), panting heavily and extremely warm to the touchI expressed my concern to one of the employeesWhen she brought the pitcher of water over, the dogs were climbing over each other frantically to get to itShe poured it into a bowl much too small that the two dogs had to share, they couldn't drink it fast enough! I left the store to do some other shopping but then stopped back in about min later to find the same situation as earlierDry dish, dogs panting & overheatedI approached the employee again, saying that the dogs should have water at all timesShe replied, "we give them water but they always spill it." I said I didn't care & that it was obvious how thirsty they were when she brought the pitcher over earlierShe said "they always get excited when people walk over"Which was not the case because I didn't see them jump up once for anyone who walked over to pet themI was able to persuade her into giving them more water, which they again lapped up every last drop, amazingly not spilling the dishI left feeling very sad about the treatment of these helpless animals!
When we bought our puppy no one told us that it's wellness check had not come back from the vet The very next day our puppy had worms in its fecal matter Turned out our puppy had adult round worms and died days later
We purchased a puppy at Furry Babies in Joliet on Sunday 12/4/and by Thursday early morning I had to take her to the vetShe was breathing but non responsive a couple hours later she died stopped breathing We bought the dog for our daughter as a Christmas present and also as a emotional service dog since she was recently diagnosed with EpilepsyShe is heart broken
Furry Babies is very disappointed any time we have a customer that is dissatisfied, but we feel in this case, the source of dissatisfaction primarily lies with the creditor she chose to use for her purchase. However, we accept all types of payments: ...

We realize not all of our customers have the means to purchase our puppies outright; so we do offer our customers several different types of financing; including leases, which are not the same as a traditional loan. Our staff members are trained to inform our customers of the truth in lending disclosures and are recorded and randomly monitored to ensure that they are doing so properly. In addition, we provide a copy of all documents signed electronically and physically while purchasing a puppy. Our customers are given every opportunity to read through these documents carefully in order to make an informed decision to use financing to purchase a puppy and opt to do so of their own volition.
