Fuse Heating & Air Conditioning Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Since the response from ** *** brings up
details from prior to closing, I will start from the beginning and outline this whole frustrating ordealOn 10/21/(before we even closed on the house), I emailed ** *** and detailed the appliances he was to order and install for this new-build home we were buying from himThe appliances included a ALDY 30" Stainless Steel Hood from Sears (AK-W75-BI30), a GE Cafe Refrigerator (CFE28TSHSS), an Electrolux Dishwasher (EI24ID50QS) and an LG Gas Range (LRG4313ST)I included the item descriptions and numbers to ensure he would order the correct appliances** *** wanted us to order them and have them installed so that he wouldn't have to deal with itOur realtor advised that we should not do thatThat was where our frustration began with ** ***Our offer on the home included a $*** allowance for flooring and appliancesHe gave us a really hard time about having to do that himselfWe knew that we went over the $*** allowance and that we would need a cashier's check for the difference at closingOur realtor tried several times to get a total for us to no availShe only received a rough estimateShe tried once last time on 11/24/and the response she received was that they would give her the exact total the next day by 3:pm, but she never did receive the total from themSo we brought a cashier's check in the amount of the rough estimate given to our realtor previously because that was the only total we hadHe also informed us that the appliances would not be delivered and installed until days after our closing dateAt the closing on 11/30/15, we gave ** *** out cashier's check and he mentioned it was a little shortWe explained that it was a little short because we had not received a response regarding a total** *** agreed to forget the remaining balance and close on the propertyOf course when the appliances were delivered and installed, there was no range hoodWhen I called ** *** asking why it hadn't been delivered, he advised me to call them and find out the reasonI explained that I had not placed the order and the paperwork he gave us on the appliances was still packed in a box somewhere (not lost as he had claimed in response to the Revdex.com)Even if I had unpacked the paperwork, I felt he should be the one figuring out what happened and not me considering he placed the original orderThis was just another example of how he wanted us to do his work for himOur house closing also included a year home warrantyDuring the closing we also mentioned that there were a lot of things in the house that were unfinished or damaged that we wanted him to take care ofHe agreed and came over to the house directly after the closing a we went through numerous items with himHe mentioned that he would prefer to wait a while to finish and repair the items because we may find even more things wrong and he didn't want to have to send workers here more than onceI disagreed with him and explained that it would be better to have things fixed and finished before we moved all of our belongings and furniture in and have them be obstacles for the people coming to do the workAfter numerous attempts to get ** *** to complete the unfinished and damaged items, I finally got him to come to the house and go over a list I had made upI also had a builder friend of mine come as well and the of us knocked down the list to itemsI made an itemized list and had my Mother-In-Law fax it to ** *** on 12/28/Between 12/28/and the date that I filed this complaint, I have called him numerous timesThroughout that time I have gotten him to send out a tile person (they fixed some of the items needing repair, but not all), a plumber (who was not told what needed to be fixed and I don't know what a plumber can and cannot fix and so I had to spend quite a bit of time going over the list with him to see what all he could complete), an electrician to fix the outlet because it was the wrong voltage for the range, as well as his sonHis son came or times during those monthsEach time he came, I had to go through the list to see what he could fixHe rarely accomplished anything because he would tell me that he needed ** *** needed to order something or it wasn't his job or that he didn't bring to proper tools to complete the repairsThen I wouldn't hear anything from anyone againI would have to call almost daily againOn 2/8/16, I had a baby weeks early and she spent time in the NICUWe were extremely busy, for obvious reasons during the next few weeksDuring that time, we did not hear anything from ** ***Once things calmed down a bit, I called him and he said that there wasn't anything to finishI was astoundedI mean, he had a copy of the list and had to have known that he hadn't sent all the appropriate people to fix the itemsHe also never called to see if the list was completeI told him that the range hood hadn't even been installedHe said that he would send an electrician in a couple days, but offered no one to finish the other items, even though I inquiredOnce the electrician arrived, he informed me that the hood I ordered (because ** *** forgot to order one for us), wouldn't work because it vented out the top and not the backThe original hood I requested the builder to order also vented out the top, but he never mentioned to us that it wouldn't workI was understandably upsetI know nothing about appliances or home improvement; I only know to look at reviews and what I think looks niceI didn't even know there were different types of venting on range hoodsIt was ** ***'s responsibility to order it and have it installed in the first place, not oursToo much time had passed for me to return the hood, but I contacted the company anyway and explained the situationThey agreed to return it as a one-time courtesy because of our situationSince the complaint, a carpenter came, along with ** ***, and hung a door, fixed the sliding door and put shoe in the master bathroom, but there are still a number of things that need to be fixedThat same day, I offered to make a copy of the "to do" list for him times and finally he agreed on my insistenceOnce again, I had my Mother-In-Law fax it again on 4/29/One of the items left on the list is vacuuming out all of the vents because there are large amounts of debris, drywall chunks and other hazardous materials for my husband, my 1/week old daughter and I are breathing in on a daily basisI have expressed my concern, but he has not taken care of itThis list is going on over months nowThat's ridiculous by anyone's standards, especially since he has workers right next door working on other new-build homes dailyI have also spoken with another neighbor that is having the same exact problems with him in their new-build home from ** ***, LLC
Regards,
Lacey Markle

I am taking care of everything with this consumer.

Review: The company made a recommendation to place free on in cooling system that was not working properly. They charged us $300 for Free on. We turned the AC on and the system did not work. The company knew that the unit needed to be replaced and made the recommendation that we replace. They also recommended that we put free on in a non working system that they had just tested and identified it was not working. I called to complain and ask that they at make it right some how. They refused and denied that they had recommended we place free on in the system.

In addition to the lack of knowledge staff, they also showed up late to one appointment and did not show up at all to another appointment. When I complained about that, the owner made it sound like it was not a big deal. We had to miss work to be present during the appointment times where he did not even show up to.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund the money they charges us to place free-on in a cooling system that they knew was not working properly.
