Review: He was contracted to completely re-wire a home I purchased in Holy Cross area from Knob and wire to standard inspection quality wiring. I paid him two installments of 8,000.00$ each. After second payment he would not show up to work. He continued to give excuses that he was waiting on me to do special construction before he could finish. He did temporary connections, never upgraded the breaker box, we sat for 7 months with no working lights or plugs. When I called him to have him at least do what contract specified he did not want to work during the week, he only wanted to work on Sunday mornings for a few hrs. When we checked for a registered permit with city office he had never even filed a permit. The last day he worked he tore and cut out two walls in the bedroom to make access easier for him and then left the mess in the floor. His work was very sloppy and not uniform throughout rooms. Rather than rewire where original outlets were he cut new holes in walls and left old outlet holes in baseboards and then next room do totally opposite. Upon hiring another electrician I was informed he had not even completed 1/4 of job contract. I basically got cheated out of 16,000.00$Desired Settlement: I want a partial refund of monies I paid him. He owes me 8,000.00 for work he did not complete.
