Fusion Physical Therapy

After wrist surgery my doctor indicated Fusion for physical therapy. Before starting any session the 1st thing I asked at the front desk was that they check my insurance to make sure services were covered. I was informed my insurance was very good and covered all costs (which is true, I have good ins). Based on this I set up appointments with them. Recovery has been difficult and slow (I am not young anymore). I had sessions with them three times/week at first, then twice/week from March 2019 thru September 2019, always approved by my insurance (during this time I had additional problems such as a broken tendon after surgery and frozen shoulder). NEVER, NOT ONCE during all this time FUSION asked me to pay anything or indicated that they were running a balance on me but they did this to other of their clients. By September 2019 I was exhausted of all this so I decided to call it quits and did not see the doctor anymore or asked for continued therapy, I just stopped making appointments. On Friday April 10, SEVEN MONTHS LATER, to my surprise I received a statement for $565 (charges for March thru September 2019)and, apparently, there are still charges in process, according to the statement, in the amount of $610. The business appears to be closed. I tried writing a Yelp review but could not and, during a pandemic, at the most vulnerable time of humanity come these crooks trying to milk money out of those who supported their local business for almost a year! The billing I received is bogus, this practices is, at a minimum, deceitful and dishonest. I do not owe this, I was never told there were charges pending and, if there were, then they kept me going because they knew I might have stopped the sessions much earlier. I need you please to investigate this. I find myself with an enormous bill which I do not owe and I am feeling taken advantage of. I am also contacting the small claim court to fight this. Thank you.
