Review: On January **, 2015 I order a Futon Bed online. The bed was delivered to me on January **, 2015. During check out I paid for walking up five flights of stairs because there is no way not to order without this extra charge added. My complaint is the Futon bed broke directly in the middle of the front supporting board. I emailed a message to Futon bed on January ** and ask for a repair or replacement of the Futon bed. I did not hear from the company at all. On January **, 2015 I again email the company explaining what had happened and that I understand the delay in responding to me may be due to the holiday. On January **, 2015 I called and spoke with a representative who quickly told me to send pictures of the damage bed. I asked to what email and was told to send it to the sales email address. I have not heard from the company in any way. No one there showed any concern for my complaint. At this time I am asking for the Futon bed to be replaced or refund my money so I can purchase a bed to sleep on. My apartment is occupied by my father and myself. We do not have any irresponsible person in the apartment or visiting the apartment. For a new bed to be purchased and break with in 3 days seems to be that I received a defective product or the company is sending out used products and stating that it is new.Desired Settlement: I need a bed and couch and feel the futon would be best for me. If the company is able to replaced the entire bed I would appreciate it. I do not need a new Futon top (mattress) just the frame. If the company does not want to replace the frame then I would like to have a full refund.

Response:

We were contacted by [redacted] via e-mail stating that the futon frame she received had broken soon after use. We asked her to send us pictures of the broken piece in order for us to clearly see which piece needed to be replaced. We did not initially receive the pictures, therefore we called the customer once again on January [redacted]. We ultimately received the pictures on Febuary [redacted]. Once the pictures were reviewed, we called the customer and offered to replace the futon frame at no charge. She accepted the replacement and it is scheduled to be delivered on Friday, February [redacted].
