Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
To whom it may concern,Please refer to my answers to Lifetime's response below: I never received a touch up kit, which I was why a request was filedAs much as Lifetime does not care to admit it, they did not provide me a kit with my closingThis could have been, in part, given that Lifetime was very upset with me at the closing of my purchase as they attempted to add a form to my purchase agreement that was not provided in the original purchase agreementAt the closing table I was presented with a form that, had I signed, would have indemnified Lifetime against liability arising from mold due to poor constructionI brought this up to my realtor, who immediately did not recognize the document and accordingly told Lifetime that I did not have to nor was I going to sign itThis obviously angered Lifetime quite a bit, so once I finally received the keys to my home they were ready to get rid of me and must have forgotten to provide me with the touch up kitWhile the AC contractor was "prompt" in his response, it took me multiple emails and a series of phone calls to Lifetime for them to finally contact their contractor and initiate the processI have had similar experiences with Lifetime, which is why I contacted a third party contractor to look at my AC when it had an issue.I also never leveled a complaint with ***, though I did consider doing soLifetime contends that my having another contractor inspect my unit voided the warranty with their contractor, which may be the case; however, I am not party to the agreements that they have with their contractorsAs to the *** warranty, it is specific to say that the unit must be damaged by or must damage due to work done by a contractor other than Lifetime'sIt was never determined whether the inspection performed by the third party contractor did anything to my unitIn fact, the issue with the unit was a leaky cooling cool, which was a manufacturing error. The promotional flier was actually present in one of the neighboring homes that HAS a back yard, so claiming anything to the contrary is simply falacyI did accept the offer as I was given *** name and phone number from Hatem D***Unfortunately, he provided me this information over the phone so I do not have a recordI spoke with *** at or around the end of 2013, and explained to him the conversation I had with Hatem in which Hatem agreed to provide an allowance rather than specific appliances*** told me that he needed to check back with Lifetime to confirm, and I never heard from him againI am not at all surprised that *** does not recall our conversation; however, it is simply not true to say that I never contacted him when I am certain that I did. As any reader can conclude, the "relationship" between myself and Lifetime has been contentious (at best) since day With that being said, I vehemently contest the attempts to concoct testimony presented hereinIf nothing else, this should be a sign to the Revdex.com that there is something going on here, which deserves more investigation (while you're at it, you might want to take a look at the "resident portal" on Lifetime's website that has not ever worked in over years; seems to be misleading to me given how difficult it is for a resident such as myself to even get responses on simple matters)They are not in the mood to do me any favors; however, agreed upon promotions (in writing) represent a bona fide offer that must be upheld. I am still seeking the promotional items that I was offered originally and will not settle for anything less.

We are currently investigating the matter. Will get in touch with you once the said process is completed.Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would
not resolve my complaint?
The matter is very simple in that Lifetime agreed in writing (such documentation can be provided) to the promotion and I never received what was promised to meTo suggest that an "investigation" is necessary is again simply an attempt to stall the process in the hopes that I will drop the matterI demand immediate action on Lifetime's behalf and would urge the Revdex.com step in to make this happenA fair amount of time to respond is one thing, but I was strung along the first time I attempted to get what was owed to me, which is how I've arrived at this junctureIt's time to follow through, and I can't do that without Lifetime's cooperation.?
Regards,
[redacted]
?

Dear Sir or Madam,
?
Lifetime Homes has built and sold hundreds of homes thus far
and enjoys excellent reputation among our home buyers and in the industry as a
whole
?
Mr[redacted] purchased [redacted] property from us about
two years ago in November,
?
He contacted
us in June 2014, email attached as Exhibit ‘A’, for getting the
second? paint touch up kit which was
duly provided as a courtesy since normally we provide only one kit per
customerPlease note that there is
no mention of the appliance package in that communication
He again
contacted us, in early August, 2015, as he had some problem with his A.C
unitAs there was a year warranty on the A.Cunit, we informed the contractor
who in turn promptly visited his house and looked at the unit
Upon his visit the contractor found
that before informing us he had been calling some other A.Ctechnician who had
worked on this unit a couple of times.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
The contractor argued that since
somebody else has messed up the A.Cunit therefore his warranty stands voided
and he can only cover the parts but will charge for the labor
?
Hearing that, Mr[redacted] contacted [redacted],
the home warranty company that we use and lodged a complain against us
Although the warranty document specifically excludes warranty in this
situation, please see attached Exhibit ‘B’, we however went ahead and settled
the matter by giving some financial incentive to the A.Ccontractor
?
Mr[redacted] himself admitted later
that A.Cmatter might be in a gray area
During
the above process and back and forth emails Mr[redacted] must have ran into
one of the two year old emails that we sent to his Realtor before closing
In the said email she brought to our notice that the next door house was
given appliance packageWe explained that your house has a back yard
while the next door does not have one therefore we had given that
appliance packageHowever we offered them the same which they never accepted at that time
?
Actually, the appliance company
gives us couple of appliance packages per development at model home pricing
which we use as an incentive in some of the dealsThere was no all out
promotion as such at that time, as alleged by Mr[redacted], and not all the homes
were given the package
?
Mr[redacted] is talking about the
‘allowance’ which had never been the case and he never contacted us regarding
this matter as can be inferred from number above
?
We also contacted Mr[redacted],
with [redacted], the appliance company last week and asked him if
he had ever received any of the calls that Mr[redacted] allegesHe is pretty
punctual in returning the calls, however he too checked his records and told us
that he had never received any calls from Mr[redacted]
?
In the light of all the above,
here are our observations;
?
Mr
[redacted] never accepted the offer that we made to his Realtor at that timeHe or
his Realtor did not mention/ bring up this matter at closingHe or
his Realtor never contacted us or the appliance company for the same in
the last around two yearsThe
appliances companies give us model home pricing for a few units when we
are doing a development which we in turn pass on to few of our home
buyersIt has been now about two years and the appliance company will not
offer the same now.It is
hard to believe, keeping in view the Mr[redacted]s personality who would
follon things on daily basis and would not hesitate to call us on private
cell phone numbers even on weekends, would sit on it for two years. It is
not true that we offered any ‘allowance’ for the appliances as alleged by
Mr[redacted]Please see Exhibit ‘C’The
books for that development are already closed long ago.Mr
[redacted]’s demand is at best an after thought which, we are afraid, can not
entertain after the passage of such a long period of time
?
Thanks for your time
?
Best regards
?
