Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaintThe list of reasons I was given during the first three week attempt to repair a unit that had been torn down and fully cleaned and diagnosed lead me to believe that an attempt was made to use substandard or used partsI have had several transmissions repaired since I started driving years ago and I would be embarrassed by this repair if I had done itI have found most of your remarks extremely condescendingI had two transmission rebuilt at North Harris County College by students in less than two weeks Your original diagnosis was blown torque converterclean up and parts. two weeks later it was not sure why it wont communicate after the first test driveThen it was a torn o-ring.Then after we got it back and used it a couple of days it was cooked again and even though Javier assured me he had check the cooler on the radiator the first time it was now badI could maintain that if they did it right the first time you probably would have gotten out of this in days and made money I will come down to $to settle this. One time offerI do not expect your professional attitude to change.*** ***

Regards,

Tell us why here...Mr***,We are sorry you feel A Plus Transmission is not making an effort to address your concernsThe only reason we are offering to help you is because we value our customers very muchAs your warranty contract states we are only responsible for parts and labor to repair the internal transmission assembly under the warrantyTowing and substitute transportation are not coveredWe want to show you that A Plus Transmission is concerned about your out of pocket expenses by offering $to you in addition to the other discounts and no charge items we have gladly providedThis is being done because this is not a situation and rare to have happenYou being in a mechanical based profession, am sure understand this and despite your best efforts and hopes problems ariseWe obviously don't want you to have to return multiple times with a repeat failure especially when it is being created by something outside what was repairedWe would not have let the vehicle leave if we thought there was any chance it would fail after any of the times it was repaired. Yes we do ask all customers that you do not take your vehicle on long road trips during the transmission break in and relearn periodThis is for a few reasons, the converter clutch lining needs to correctly adapt and properly wear in, we want to make sure all external seals have seated properly and there are no leaks, and that the new electronics do not show any signs of defectThis week break in and adaptation period is important but we do not consider miles an out of town road trip as this is probably less then the distance across the greater Houston metro areaWe want you to know that these issues were something we did not want to happen, and we do care that you were inconvenienced in the processA Plus Transmission would be happy to provide you $to help with the expenses you incurred as a result of transmission problems.Thank you,David ***This was the last response we provided, we are very sorry you did not receive itPlease let us know if this will help and we will be happy to send payment.Thank you,David ***832-882-

Revdex.com ID[redacted]A Plus Transmission is sorry you are not happy with the time frame your vehicle was repaired in. We normally preform this type of repair with in a shorter time frame. There is always reasons beyond our control that this can change but we strive to get all vehicles...

repaired in a timely manner. There were some issues with your transmission overheating and melting the plastic oil dams. This melted plastic found its way in to other parts of the system causing the transmission to fail the additional times. It seems that we have the cooling system working properly as you did mention the transmission is working correctly as of now. Even though the transmission had a problem caused by outside cooling issues, we warrantied it both times it failed. You did not hesitate to pay for the radiator that was contaminated. We only charged you for the parts cost and covered the labor as a customer courtesy, This was done because of the towing and rental expenses you were incurring as the labor cost would normally be $253.00 replace the radiator in addition to the parts cost. We want all customers to be satisfied with their repairs and be using the vehicle that they paid to repair. When there is an odd problem like this it cost the shop money and the customer money. We understand it is not the ideal situation and appreciate your patience. So in addition to the original discount coupon for $100 off, The rental credit of $100 already given and the $253 in labor not charged we will hope you will accept $500 from us to help with costs you paid out of pocket while this problem was being corrected. All repairs are covered under a full parts and labor warranty, keep in mind that the warranty does not cover towing or substitute transportation.Thank You,David [redacted]General ManagerA Plus Transmission-Heights832-882-3698
