I am rejecting this response because: I have no idea where they are coming up with the amount I owedOur agreement for the job was $9,120. I paid the 50% upon delivery of material and start of the job with the other 50% to be paid after the job was completedYour company failed to do their part in our agreement and failed in your obligation of work performed. The county building inspector might have signed off the roof but you had not completed the jobYou failed to install the bird stops at several places along the roof edge didn't complete the flashing around the chimney or complete the roof vents(leaving the one unpainted). I was advise from my loan officer to not pay you until you completed the job. You failed to do the job as our agreement and once I filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board did you fill a Mechanics Lien ClaimWhich I never received the actually papers, I received certificated mail a copy of said papers which have no recorder's file # or actually where you filed said papers

Business states that they have contacted the consumer directly and the pending issues have been taken care of

This consumer filed a complaint because a lien was placed on her home for not providing final payment. We did the final inspection with the city, and the inspection past. When the consumer contacted us she mentioned that the inspection did not pass, and she refused to provide the corrections from...

the city. I went ahead and contacted the city, and according to them the inspection has passed. When I contacted the consumer, she still refused to provide the full final payment of $5500.00, and tried to only provide $4700.00. I did not accept the check because it was not a full payment, and this is the reason why a lien was placed on her home. We did nothing wrong to this consumer, she just failed to pay. Also, regarding her comment about one of my employees smelling like alcohol while on the job, as a business we take pride in our employees and their work ethic. So, this employee was terminated and no longer works for us.

"The total price was $9120.00, and half of that was paid, and the remaining amount was $4560.00. Aside from this we provided extra services that was done verbally to try and save her some money. The additional job was priced at $1100 including labor and material. I made a mistake of not doing an additional work order for this job because again I was trying to save her money. She also went ahead and filed a complaint with the bond, and she needs to understand that the job was not abandoned from us, therefore the bond will be denied.  We did every thing we were contracted to do, aside from the verbal agreement we had for her porch. She somehow  thought this job was going to be done for free. Last week I sent her a letter trying to resolve  the dispute, and she  still refuses to pay after I offered to have her pay the $4560, and the labor for the porch work. She still has refused, and wants something for free."

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: Does not do work that was bided in our agreement. Doesn't have skilled roofers who know what they are doing. Was to have seamless gutters installed by another source who didn't do the job that was bided. They ended up doing such a poor job in the begin and had to bring on a man who knew what he was doing and are now expecting another $1,500, because he had to correct all the things the first 2 screwed up. I had to purchase myself supplies for the men. I even had to paint the fascia boards myself since they couldn't seem to get them to the job site for the painter we had hired. This company is a nightmare to work with. [redacted] the owner of the company is horrible business owner, If it wasn't for the 2 men who ended up coming onto the job site to do the work we would have been in bigger trouble. I never signed or was given a change order from the original contract agreement.Desired Settlement: They need to accept payment for the original agreement as they still didn't even preform what our agreement was. Seamless gutters were not installed correctly. Roof and grounds around job site were not left clean from all debris each day. [redacted] needs to accept the 4,560 that he is owed and be done this all this mess.

Review: My roof is insured by this contractor for two years from 12/19/2012 to 12/18/2014. Due to the rainy season, my roof is leaking heavily and it damaging the interior of my walls. I called the contractor on October 1, 2014 and I have called the Contractor many times, he keeps delaying. I asked him for the date that he can come out to repair my roof, we agreed 10/11, 10/18, he never called me back or showed up. In addition, I keep calling him to follow up, and he never returned my messages that I left on his cell phones on Nov 3, 4, 5, 6, 13, 15 2014.Desired Settlement: This is a crook contractor, he will say and do anything to have it client pay him, after he got the money, he denies all services by not picking the phones, not returning phones calls even though many messages left on his voice mails. He does not honor the contractor he sighed. If he's doing it to me, he has probably done it to many hardworking people like myself.
